No point then. Lol

Still 360 and bonus saver for now
If and only if mbsb have online access and ATM, can be good alternative too.

Ocbc boost also good. But entry super high.

imo
ocbc smart saver can be a good option to replace mbsb cash rich
2.55% pa above 1k
https://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/ac...rs-account.html
but the downside is cannot withdraw

Opened a HSBC perks@works for company salary account and they offer up to 5% p.a if fulfill the requirements.
But the amount only applies for the incremental balance....
Contemplating to abandon this and focus on OCBC 350 or anybody got a strategy?
*
I will combine this with Citi Accelerate account, which offers 4.88% for incremental balance too.

Thank you for your reply, I try ask bank, but I still ???, I not want disturb you, but every month you saw the interest credit printed or not?

If you have balance RM 50 then one month your money in out, but you look the interest credit more than RM 0.15 or not?
That's mean approx. RM 50(balance) * 0.22% = RM 0.11.
So your money in out but last day of month balance maintain RM 50, if interest more than RM 0.15, I guess in out money also counting, so this account is base on dairy balance counting interest and interest credit monthly same like some bank BSA way.

Some bank credit interest every month, some bank credit interest half year. I only can guess the bank credit interest every month is base on dairy balance counting interest and interest credit monthly. The half year interest bank, I don't know.

If this account base on dairy balance counting interest and interest credit monthly so like your mentioned, this is really ok and like money market way but only this account little a bit low interest.

Only you have this account you'll know and can look is like that or not.
So you not like above activity for hobby to guess or know ???.

Went over to Citibank for their Accelerate 4.88% and was requested to have staff verification by employer before opening account. Max incremental balance bonus RM 30k

HSBC Perks@Work 5% for incremental value

I guess OCBC 360 remains the easiest at 4.10% - with RM 500 deposit, low debit card spending, + pay 3 bills (including loans/credit card)

Just open a privilege saving account at Standard Chartered since I already got a credit card and online account there.
Anyway, was asked by the person in charge to take the debit card (annual fees RM8) if not the privilege benefits will not get.
Is that true?
Coz I highly doubt this debit card is needed to fulfill the required condition to get up to 6% pa interest.

Are you planning to buy insurance or wealth management products with SCB?
Otherwise, you'll be getting 4% pa only.

Min. 3k deposit & 1k card spending (single card not combine cards). Then you get 0.5% board rate + 2% bonus rate (deposit) + 1.5% bonus rate (card spending).

If u have wealth product, u can get additional 2%

Their website got clear description:

Good thing about this debit card is it is one of the features and tie to the saving account is that you can withdraw cash in any bank atm (foreign or local bank - MEPS or HOUSE) for free (it charge when you withdraw and credit back by end of the day). That is what i heard. hmm.gif
