A savings account with step-up bonus rate interest for monthly incremental average balance. URL: https://www.rhbgroup.com/products-and-servi...s-saver-accountIf no fresh fund, you'll get the base interest rate only on the average balance in your account. QUOTE Condition (After completion of 12 Step-Up Counter)| Fulfil monthly incremental average balance of RM500 | 2.65% | 0.10% | 2.75% | | Does not fulfil monthly incremental average balance of RM500 | 2.65% | 0.00% | 2.65% |

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 22 2019, 01:20 PM) Pay for withdrawal using MEPS? Yes. Why not. My house just got break in few months ago. That entire incident change my mind. I usually keep some cash. But after the incident, no. Just no more cash more than 500 in house. This post has been edited by [Ancient]-XinG-: Mar 24 2019, 04:56 PM

Ok so after completion it will be maintain at 2.65% .. additional 0.1% if maintain to add up rm500 fresh fund! Noted. Mean it will not go to the base of 0.25% only without fresh fund as before 12th month

QUOTE(howszat @ Mar 21 2019, 10:22 PM) I'm not talking about accessibility. My post was about returns (ROI), which works out to be roughly RM100 per annum. Accessibility is up to each individual to decide. Including whether "burning" applies to their individual circumstances or not.

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 21 2019, 10:37 AM) I do not hate debit cards. I don't feel secured or comfortable of using debit card that ties to saving account with high balance. Then you may consider Phillip money market fund. 3.72%. No conditions needed. No maximum cap. Just lag time in withdrawing.

Hello Guys, I found OCBC Booster Account. While the interest is not as high as SavePlus and EAccount, it still offers 3.25% without much effort and the minimum requires to get that rate is "only" RM30k. (Eacc needs 50k, and SavePlus needs 100k to get 3.5%) Also comes with 2 free MEPS withdrawal per month. Got extra interest if you buy insurance/unit trust (cap for first 50k) There is a interest calculator at the bottom of the page. https://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/Ac...ster/index.htmlThe star news dated 13 Aug 2018. https://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...d-deposit-rate/There is also a PREMIER version with higher interest rates but less interesting than SavePlus and EAccount, unless you have and need 10million liquidity. https://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/Pr...ster/index.htmlThis post has been edited by samsungfreak: Mar 28 2019, 05:54 PM

For UOB eAccount, the RM 1 MEPS withdrawal fee is waived at non-UOB ATM machine if account balance is above RM 10k.
How does it work? Is it won't charge at all or it's charged first but will be reimbursed at the month end?
