I checked and my area max speed is 10mbps (non-subb).

Today, received call from TM office from my area, offer me RM129 for 100mbps. Seems so strange my kampung area memang no unifi why suddenly got offer? non-subb area? possible scam?

my house address is under SUBB and not in a pipe they are offering me any unifi services. All related infos already given to them, cabinet and pole nos.

From yesterday I noticed I got pushed to private ip, the speed now is inconsistent. Any way to get back public ip?

Started from last month most of us on private IP already.

Normal browsing ok, but not for torrent for any dedicated games as far as I concerned. Read that if you want to get the public, need to contact TM by give reason of unable to get your home cctv working.

Even direct download the speed fluctuate a lot, before this it's consistent.

Now Ip is behind the NAT , public IP different from modem ip.

I was referring to another thread actually, according to them the best solution to get back the public is by given cctv not working as a reason. I have no problem with the current private ip as my daily usages mainly for normal browsing and streaming.

In out Modem page, we got say for 2MB Streamyx.

Attainable Downstream - 20,000kbps
Attainable Upstream - 1,000kbps

Downstream - 2,500kbps
Upstream Rate - 502kbps

The first part, "attainable" means this line is connected to a port that can support up to 20Mbps speed?

I call 100 and say I noticed my connection now is in "private ip", he heard the 2 words then straight away ask my cctv not working?
I say yes then he say will file the report and by next day I receive sms say they already fix my issue and ask to restart modem.

Now got website to check bill and do other stuff. Can't remember what's the site again, something that start with unifi. TM also got give points which you can use it to deduct amount from the bill.

Is is possible streamyx user can get higher upload speed? i cant wait for hour to upload my video so slow 512kb even on 8MB package...if 5mb would be good.so again rises my question can streamyx user get higher upload speed then 512kbps?

I forgot how much is it, but as long as can make it pay lesser is always welcomed.


I read before someone call TM and ask for faster upload speed, and TM increase it to 1Mb, not much but double than existing speed. Never try myself.
