Go to tm point and ask for discount. I managed to get the rm20 discount + free aneka pack for my 8mbps. Rm20 discount for a lifetime but free aneka pack for 1 year only (but who care, My stb are staying safely in their orange box for 4 years now). Currently i’m paying rm148.50 something after gst. Still expensive than unifi lite SUBB but I’ve got no choice and perhaps I should be grateful at least I got 8mbps, those who stuck with rm110 1mbps much more ‘kesian’ than me. According to Tm SUBB are expected to be implement at my area sometime in 2019-2020.

True. This is totally ridiculous to charge RM160 for merely 8Mbps with outdated ADSL technology internet.

I am not sure about rural area. Maybe they feel grateful for that. Speaking of city/town in Malaysia, we really deserve better price and good quality internet network.

I asked for upgrade from my current 4Mbps to 8Mbps but need to pay RM160 per month whereas many agents outside still offering RM140 per month for subscribing as a new 8Mbps user. This is nonsense and ridiculous. They never care to listen to feedback.

They never extend or setup new UNIFI coverage for many areas in big city. Yet they offer attractive price for multiple times of better connection speed at almost the same price for Streamyx. We as the existing Streamyx customers with no choice to go better at all. Ask for 8Mbps yet still need to top up extra of RM20 per month. Charging us so high with low connection speed. It's like fooling us.

go to TM Point. downgrade your HyppTV package. -RM20.

Are you sure become 16mbps? I never heard this before.

at least that's what i learned - the hard way.

i found out that i've been paying for hypptv, although i'm not using it.

heck, i didn't even gotten the hypptv STB during my years with streamyx.

after doing my own research in this forum, i found out that i'm paying unnecessary stuff.

my old streamyx registration was called Streamyx 8.0M Blockbuster Combo HyppTV Bundle RM160.

after i found out that i'm 'donating' unnecessarily to TM, i went to TM Point & asked them
if i can cancel my hypptv subscription and get RM20 discount.

the staff checked, and said well yes - i was already out of contract and they give me -RM20 discount
every month afterwards till i upgraded to unifi.

RM160 - RM20 = RM140.

That one should called "Unifi" already, but not Streamyx.. Am I right?
