Can you lot stop letting fly the personal insults? It adds nothing to the debate and shows just how childish you really are... then again, you'd make perfect politicians biggrin.gif

It's not even a debate madmoz. It will be though when they say something that make sense. Seeing that it doesn't, it's far from a debate. How can even one debate with someone who'll moan when one disagrees with him and keep repeating the same answer and asking the same question when everything has been addressed?? As I pointed out to Jonno, going to take the verx route here. No point saying anything to these people, you'll never change them. But they got another thing coming though if they expect to be respected as a football fan.

i never asked to be respected as a football fan. but as a human being. why on earth u simply said some1 an idiot & brain is damaged?

i have no offend against anybody except u. u think u great. 'real' fan n whatever. then its ok. i came to this forum to discuss. if u think im plastic. IT IS OK 2! like jonc said, Go on supporting your single or as many teams as you like as long as ya happy. i think we can make a healthy discussion here. but YOU, out of nothing, flame me n shah. n said we r idiots. saying somebody is idiot WAS WAY TO FAR MAN!!!!

like osaka09 said. the way u act actually reflected ur childhood. how u were raised. maybe it is custom in your family to say some one idiot. i really respect this osaka09. really wise guy.

if u can SEE carefully, there are many forummer have 2 teams n above.

why didnt u guys say anything bout it? n what is real fan actually?

yes, ill keep on repeating the same quest if u (air_mood) didnt answer it. if u think u wise enough, pls do answer me air_mood. coz im really curious here. answer me ths 2 simple question.

Being a fan is a subjective matter. No one has the rights to say to another that you are not a true fan and so and so.

I respect other football fans, although some insult my football club and give me terrible abuse. At the end.. what comes around goes around.

I really don't think that we can have the absolute and precise definition of how to become a true fan. For instance, let's say to become a fan you must endure horrid abuse, queue up to the stadium to buy tickets, must attend all home and away games etc... Supporting and loving your club should be fun and enjoyable.. Do you want your son/daughter to follow this kind of mentality? For me, I love football and I love Manchester United. But I don't see the need to insult Liverpool fans or Chelsea fans (although I do receive the end of it)... At the end football is just football and the beauty of the sport should be the one that we all should cherish.

So what if you live in Malaysia, is it fair to say that you must go to Old Trafford every match to finally justify your right to call yourself a true fan?

These things are subjective...

Sometimes people don't understand me. Why I don't like to fight or be in an argument with another fan from a different club.. To me I like to see something like the LYN Football Jersey Discussion & Collectors Thread. No one feels like debating or insulting or arguing between one member or another. We all come from different backgrounds and clubs.. but we all are united under the love of one thing. That's how I see it when I watch football..

Just imagine my in laws.. My dad in law is a liverpool fan, my brother in law is an arsenal fan.. me, a United fan.. We all share the love together. Heheh.. Anyway.. I don't have the rights to say you are not a true fan.

that is why la bro. there's no particular requirements for it.. the football is a game of beauty and pace. A game that united all ppl in the whole globe.. same as you, i enjoyed supporting my teams.. whenever they won i cheer, whenever they lost i felt sad too.. thing is i always think about how we lost not how we want to insult them... i prefer anatical and tactical analysis. it would easily generate some info that u wouldn't find in wikipedia by researching every game u watched...... it;s just the game of fun and tears.. no hard feelings..

yeah same as me also here. dad was a kop so do my younger bro.. my sis is Man U.. it's only me who is left.. i kept it all the way.. they were so into it even in most of the game my sis will wore her jerseys and started to should out loud when they scored.. in the end it just a game of fun and thrilled..

another wise man with wise though. thanks schmeichel7. ive read ur post in other threat. im agreed with all ur post. really matured minded. including this post. thats why im keep asking these 'real' fan, how can u claim ur self as 'real' fan? UNFORTUNATELY, they never answer. but keep on firing me n shah. & keep on saying nonsense. nobody can say u are true fan or not. if u can get any statement from the football profesional bout true fan, pls do so. nobody can say u r real fan or not. even urself. coz u cant even prove it. but i really like air_mood to say why he thinks he is 'real' fans. pls air_mood. im really curiuos.

I don't think I should speak. tongue.gif Everyone have their own respective views of labeling a person a "real" fan. Mine is that stick with the club during ups and downs. The likes of Squidward is definitely not one of them. tongue.gif

How to become a real fan? Support "real" madrid lah..

joking aside..simple test.
During away matches, make sure you are wearing the team jersey, sitting alone in the home section surrounded by opposition supporters. And dont forget to cheer your team on no matter winning or losing.
Ahhh then you are a real fan. thumbup.gif
