My opinion:

Hardcore is very subjective. Before this I think I'm a passionate fan; I stayed up watching my team, get to know the players, spent time on the club' s website etc etc until I went to Anfield. I met a guy who is about a year younger than me. He knows almost everything about Liverpool and remembers the dates for future fixtures and against whom. He bought stuff from the club, has his club shirt and scarf. I can say he is more passionate than me, eventhough he is not from Liverpool. We all might not be hardcore supporters unless we're born and breed from the club where we support like the locals IMHO BUT we can be real and loyal supporters. Hardcore, Real and Loyal supporters cry when their team lost. They win together and they lose together. Glory Hunters win together with the others but when the team is losing they don't feel anything.

I think you've messed up with Scouse/Scousers. Imagine it like this:

Scouse - dialect from Liverpool
Scousers - people from Liverpool (also called Liverpudlians)

It's the same like:

Bahasa Kelantan/Kelate - dialect from Kelantan
Orang Kelate - people from Kelantan

When you said Scousers, we all understand that they are people from Liverpool. Everton is also a district in Liverpool. So the locals who are from Merseyside (the Liverpool area) are called Scousers. The hardworking man is called the hardworking man, no matter he is a Scouser or a Cockney or a Malaysian or a Russian. wink.gif

QUOTE(-Y- @ Jan 21 2008, 12:09 PM)
Geez u guys. i dont know la.. i didnt realize there's hooligan in m'sia. ahak. ok. why dont u guys respect others thought? ok, ill answer ur question. if milan clash with roma, i choose milan. like i said, im milan fans. but roma is in my heart. i can't resist to hate roma. i just like them play. and arsenal also. i admire wenger. so what? it doesnt mean i choose all of this team and hope 1 of them will win title. no! i actually like milan to win all. guys, i know so many profesional out there admired couple of teams. they r professional. who r u guys? some futsal player. not even pro. came to this forum, be a gangsta & bully other ppl thought. u said we r idoit, kids, not loyal. hey, how old r u guys? air_mood said he still studying. heh. kiddo.. i watch milan since i was kid. late 80's. n u saying im kids. haha.  laugh.gif  if we speaking bout history, for sure everyone can open wiki, yahoo n so on. so, just igore the history. guys, like i said. respect other's thinking.

i want to clarify here. im milan fans. i like roma since batigol there until now. and i like arsenal in wenger era. so what?

if u said u are so good. loyal. let us discuss, why sir alex ferguson admire milan eventhou he is the manager of man utd. SAF is disloyal?.. wuu... he must be scared  icon_question.gif  of u guys..  doh.gif

SO, LET US DISCUSS. WHY?

Wait, how come Roma is in your heart but you on the other hand being a Milan fan? Surely if the number 1 team you're supporting (in your case, which is Milan) must be in your heart all the time, doesn't it? I'm confused. Why don't you just say you support Milan, but you have a soft spot for Roma because Batistuta used to play there? That should make it clearer.

And saying we (the supporters) are bullies, just futsal players, not even pro etc clearly are totally unnecessary. What has being a futsal player has to do with it? You might just upset the futsal thread people. Why do you need to ignore the history. If you love your team you'll do everything to know about your beloved team don't you? Wiki and Yahoo are there for people to learn about the history as well, not just IM-ing or porno-ing.

And oh, air_mood's doing his 3rd degree anyway, he's not a kid anymore, at least not by the way he's commenting in the forums, very insightful. A kid doesn't do that. (first time ever defending a manutd fan tongue.gif )

re:SAF...well you said SAF admires Milan. Note the word 'admire'. I admire the way Arsenal play and ManUtd attacking but that doesn't mean I support them and make me less of being a Liverpool supporter. Admire means you're in awe and respect of others qualities, but not actually supporting them.

As verx said, perhaps it's wiser if you guys just ignore what has been discussed before. Surely if you want to support whatever teams you like then it's your decision, nobody will arrest you and put you into jail. As far as I'm concerned, I can quite see clearly the points that the likes of Jonno & air_mood brought up. Also I think it's better to stop the personal attacks; like the childhood thingy and education, that's over the top and has nothing to do with the 'real fan' issue.

I have to guess he's just bitter when the 'pros' gave their views, and when other 'pros' came in and agreed with what being discussed, he felt nobody out there would support him with his defense statement, if there's any. This is a forum, not a race or a competition. Not a place where only the pros can hang out or something either. We came here not for winning an argument mate, it is more to voice your opinions. I assure you that if you can voice your views clearly & properly other people will understand. If not don't say the pros are friends with each other so they'll support every pro until they die. That's just ridiculous. Even the pros had a debate among themselves.

P/S: I have to laugh really when I use the word 'pro'. Can't believe there are 'Pro' forummers in this world.
