It's LH speed with perfect strategy that made it worked. Probably if it was VB it won't work.

lol, it's just the hunter and the hunted role reversed. Usually it's Red Bull Max always on the hunter role, 1st time seeing him being hunted!

To be honest it's due to the race circumstances with 3rd car behind so far behind to make this strategy works. Imagine if Hamilton managed to overtook Max on lap 39-40, I would bet Max would be coming in for pit-stop while Hamilton/Mercedes would play safe staying on track for lead, then it's now Verstappen doing the hunter job and next overtakes Hamilton with "worn-out" tyre at last laps. Same outcome but different winner.

Now VB's role is to fight and block Gasly. With Mercedes's season opening huge advantage diminished, I think both Ferraris and Verstappen were ahead of VB.

For once I'm not unhappy that LH won.

Championship is over. LH can coast for the rest of the 9 races and still be WDC. MV can suck it.

This is the reverse of Austria only without the bumper car style overtaking. LH is awesome and MB race strategy was spot on.

Motogp, F1, Tennis, Worldsbk, Badminton (Previously Super Dan).

In fact last 2 years Mercedes car wasn't consistently the fastest, yet it's Hamilton whom delivered. Look at Honda Motogp, where all the other Honda riders while MM crushing opponents every races. There's always a single superhero ruling the sport.

Unfortunately, I think new R&R or not, they just have to dumb down the sport in order to make it interesting.

First of all, cars are getting overly technical. Ground effect, KERS, diffusers, etc.

Secondly, they need to get rid of the electronics that assist drivers.

Lastly, they should reintroduce refuelling. Although slow car will still be slow at the end of the gp, but some of these dare devils will mess up some of the front runners day at crucial stage of the GP.

Cant compare with those. Different field. Need to compare within the same motoracing. You see F2 how interesting. Even with a boring track there we still so many overtakes. Which is probably why this sport also dying in Malaysia. Nowadays you wanna start topic about F1 got no kaki already. The new rules and reg are killing the sport. Basically watch Clarkson's vid for the whole summary haha

18hp is nothing much for currently estimated 1000hp cars especially on this particular track. It's more about the whole package, team strategy, and driver skill.

Mercs have good chassis and aero package la that's for sure. RB also but not as good and their engine gives them a disadvantage that the chassis and aero can't recover the lost time. Ferrari only ada engine power but aero still sucks until this stage of the season. Lol

Hoping Petronas launching this specially-formulated fuel locally maybe next year? So we can try out on our car, haha.
