We'll see what happens with the development in the off season. Everyone also said Ferrari caught up with the Mercs earlier this year but look how they fell flat at some power tracks. I dont believe Ferrari and Renault have caught up yet in terms of power. It's just that their aero packages are probably better than the Mercs

Still prefer the conventional nose like Mercedes have and don’t like the other teams’ new noses. Having said that, at least they’re nowhere near the atrocious 2014 F1 cars. Those are the real “ugly dicks”. Lol

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Feb 28 2018, 10:16 AM)
I honestly don't see why so much hype in Kubica, to me he's one of those too overrated ones. He barely just beat Nick Heidfield when he was in 100% condition, so he might be a decent one but he's no Alonso/Ham/Seb, not even Kimi's level when Kimi was at his best or Dani Ric or Max.
*
U gotta understand Kubica and Heidfeld are not in the league of Seb/Ham/Alonso or Kimi/Max/Dani Ric. At his best he’s probably at Perez and Hulkenburg’s level only. Good and consistent enough for a midfield team but certainly not great enough for a top team

Wait until they go back to Barcelona for the race weekend and then u’d probably know who’ll be thereabouts at the end of the season

Man, that was heart-breaking for Kimi. Thought he got pole sealed up but he lost too much time in the final sector. Looks like Mercedes have a lot of work to do to catch Ferrari this weekend

Even if Seb does win tomorrow, there’s no way one should count Mercedes out this early. If they are still not back to where they are when they are back on the Euro circuits, only then there’s a big problem

Max can learn from Dani on how to overtake without contact. Some really brave and forceful moves yesterday by DR but he made no contact at all.

DR is probably the best overtaker now on the grid. He has done several of those impressive moves before.

That move on Lewis was excellent. Reminded me of the same move on Kimi at Monza. That late lunge and yet he didn't lock the tyres. Impressive

Hopefully someone else other than Seb, Dan, or Ham will win this weekend! biggrin.gif

Bottas then. Give poor Mercs their first win of the season. Lol

Wow that’s some shitty luck for VB. Fortunate win for Lewis. This track somehow provides a lot of chaos

Seb wanted it too much. He was ahead of Lewis. Didn’t need to gamble on a late dive

^So confident? laugh.gif

Lets see the next 3 european races first. It will roughly indicate who will have the upper hand in the final stretch of the season

They’ll do it via pit stop especially if they are far away from Lewis. Let Seb undercut Kimi. Lel.
