Come to think of it, I think better just for Ham to wrap up the title ASAP so that the rest of the remaining races everyone can just be open and race as they wish just for wins!
HYPPTV got FOX 3 HD is the sole reason why I can finally see V8 in real HD unlike ASS #dontknowhowmany many years back
Yeah that championship is super tight now at the top, only 27 points separated the top 3 from Whincup-Coulthard-McLaughlin with still hundreds of points up for grabs.
Seems like Kimi himself did not feel comfortable getting handed down the position back.

Surprised there were no talk between Verstappen fans.... either that or there were no fans of his in this thread
I think despite not popular decision, it's still the right decision to demote Max from the podium because as per the rule you cannot gain an advantage by going all 4 wheels outside of the track which unfortunately he did when he overtook Kimi.
As for Max fan, yeah I don't think there's any hardcore Max fan here who is actively participating with us in the F1 thread. I like Max but I'm not a true fan of any current driver actually, just a fan of F1 in general.
this more ballsy than senna lap record in suzuka 88
Hahaha, Bathurst is an awesome track, one of my favorites to play in GT6! Btw Senna's Monaco pole lap was even more ballsy coz most of the lap were done with just 1 hand on the steering!
So title fight finally over, hope next few races will be just free for all to fight.
Great performance by Max, this kid is really special and ballsy off the starting grid. RB really needs to make sure they have a good car next year or else he will be restless looking for another team which can win titles. I think Ferrari should buy him out to replace Kimi.

One point to note is that McLaren chassis do look good now. Notice that in the twisty bits, Alonso was even able to pull away a bit from Ham! Ham only caught up and finally passed him due to the long straights, otherwise he would have had a tougher time or even not able to pass if McLaren just had a bit more top speed.
Their chassis good for current Honda speed, with higher speed then it might be different story, maybe rattle here and there then understeer etc.. But Renault not reliable also, so many PU failure this season. McLaren switching to it might not fare better than current situation...
But at least Renault can still provide more power and Renault powered cars have won a few races this year. I think McLaren cannot do worse than now.
today is the 9th anniversary of the most dramatic Brazilian GP ever seen
... and I still remember almost threw the bottle 2 the screen when Hamilton overtake last corner of last lap
aaaaa good old times mang
Hahaha yeah, that was a nail bitter! I was actually supporting Ham instead of Massa back then coz I just think Massa is not WDC material and I wanted the new fresh young blood to win.
Haha not australian V8 though bcuz it is meant 2 stay forever๐๐๐๐ Haha deng LMP dying๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ
Haha still got australian V8 racing ma...that one confirm not dying๐๐way better than NASCAR and INDY surely๐๐
It's not called V8 Supercars anymore though, it's Virgin Australia Supercar series ever since Branson's Virgin Airlines became the main sponsor a few years back. And the engine formula is going to change soon to some turbocharge unit and no more V8 engines.
Install a loudspeaker to mimic V8 roar, then it would be no difference to older f1 days edi, haha.
Naah looking at those cars with such skinny bike-like tires just does not appeal to me. Maybe if in the future the cars look better and muscular with similar speeds like F1 then I might be interested to watch. Of course the driver's caliber should also be top notch, not F1 rejects like now.

sorry I know it is not related here but deng I want 2 do some track testing drive one day in the off season
now I am in my 4th month self employed and I project I can afford the hire purchase in 2 years time being early 30s
Yeah, pretty boring race actually coz no fight from the top 3 and Ham was so easy to overtake others until he reached Kimi but Kimi had it all under control (probably also proof that Ferrari engine is about as powerful as the Mercs despite Ham having a fresh new engine).
The closer fight should've been between Massa/Alonso/Perez but the camera was focusing on the wrong fight. Good that Alonso still able to hold off Perez to regain his points lead from Stoffel, and Massa able to have a decent last home race.
let me show you what real F1 racing should be like hahahaha
haha dang afonso streak continues but FINALLY massa is faster than you
Alonso would have overtaken Massa if not for the weak Honda. Can see how low on power the Honda is as even with the DRS open he still cannot match Merc powered cars top speeds. Same case also in Mexico, he barely can keep up on the straight even with the DRS open. Without DRS open, he's just a sitting duck.
Seems 2nd drivers from Ferrari and Merc not able to extract the car to maximum for a win. Only Hamilton and Vettel can consistently doing that. Contrast to what outside ppl believe it's the car that gifted Hamilton win this season..
Well that's why both of them are 4 times champ! Kimi on his day back in the mid 2000s was very fast and should be able to match Seb & Ham at least in the dry but now no more. Bottas, well he still have to prove himself as this is still his first year in a top team and his results are actually pretty good in the first half but he kinda drop the ball in the second half. Hopefully next year he will be better and more consistent.
Car wise, F1 has always been car dominant first and racer 2nd, so whoever wins the title surely must have had the best if not one of the best cars for that year.
