Same with me... I generally enjoyed F1 till Vettel dominates the sport... until My wife bought me a F1 Malaysia GP as a present. Now my wife like F1 more than me... Haha...
BTW the penalties is justified... I know why max complaining about it but I don't understand why Niki Lauda, one of the great legends complaint about it.

Lewis himself had couple of lucky moment, including one in Monaco when he damaged his tyre, salvaged by a pitstop and got even better luck by having safety car later, he was crowned as champion in that Monaco GP. Forgot which year was it.

If "Strat 14" mode do take away the lifespan of the engine, I would've not activated it if I'm in the 44 car, but I'm sitting here and not the world champion.

but Lewis was complaining that no one in Merc told him that Seb would be very close after Ferrari pitstop, I think that's an overlook/mistake from Mercedes (or it's just the way they managing their driver on track by not telling them), but I doubt it will be useful, because even if Lewis had been informed,  how fast can he go under the VSC mode?

Agreed. Racing nowadays is doing just enough instead of go all out. All because of stupid rules/penalties.

I noticed that Mercedes is highly reliant on pit wall for every call. That's why LH seems lost when no radio contact. Even in Australia, he kept asking whether to attack Vettel or not and didn't get an answer... Seems like the pit wall cannot make decisions..

Better race this time thanks to the Torro Rosso incident. Ferrari bad luck shifted to vettel this time. Verstappen still haven't learned to calm down enough. When hamilton is not into it,he really is not into it. Good drive for the top 3. Alonso must be happy to overtake the red car on track for a very long time.

I guess Ferrari PU has 10hp more than Mercedes this season. See only the king Hamilton able to beat Ferrari pair for pole and where ordinary driver Bottas was.

I think Ferrari 'shared' all the update and tricks for the PU more than Mercedes with their customer.
Yeah, that lap is perfect. Vettel got neck issue... See if it affects him in the race.
