I think this has been answered before.Honestly this has got to be the most ridiculous thing ever said by Honda if they say tint ourselves will void warranty. Answer is no. |

QUOTE(alvinrenren @ Nov 10 2017, 05:20 PM) I think this has been answered before. I called their HQ to get more information about this matter, they told me if I want to apply it my self, I have to get recognition letter from them if not even though is a trusted brand, it will still void the warranty so I kinda confuse here. LolHonestly this has got to be the most ridiculous thing ever said by Honda if they say tint ourselves will void warranty. Answer is no. |

Hi sifus.
My car is up to 6 months today. But my service minder shows I still have about 300km to go. Is there a limit on the delay on service after 6 months? Or should I send it now? |

QUOTE(Arevind7 @ Nov 11 2017, 10:12 AM) Thank you bro. Are you aware of how long we can delay our service after 6 months before they say warranty void or too late? Cos I’m planning to send it in 2 weeks. As far as I know, they allow up to 1 month or 1,000km overdue. It’s really up to the service manager’s perogative, but so far from what I heard, it’s the above. Best to send it in before it’s due rather than overdue. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 10 2017, 10:33 PM) This one pure bullshit haha... Definitely pure utter bull, no such thing as recognition letter. If you bring the letter during your claim, probably the staff at counter literally laugh out loud in front of you. When claim always be humble and understanding and they will do for you, it is always up to their prerogative to accept your claim. When they accept it means they have business ( SC) . Sometimes a particular SC have high number of claims then HQ will require some additional justification but it is for them to handle. poizan liked this post

And best part, it was not the SC she bought from and usually service haha... Bought from BLH Melaka, claimed at GS Tay Muar LOL. And they professional, got problem they settle don't push around. |

Has anybody tried rooting the HU & installing apps using the methods below?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/ge...e-2017-t3621582 http://www.civicx.com/threads/finally-cust...-20#post-305630 https://youtu.be/2sfcdPPmgsg https://www.facebook.com/groups/HondaMalays...80944232198220/ I have a query regarding the app installation itself. The main reason I want to install apps is because I want to use offline GPS apps like HERE we go, Sygic or Google maps offline map. My queries are: 1) I am using Civic TC (no Garmin), & wondering if there is built in GPS on TC, & if I can install the above apps & using the built in GPS? 2) If any of you have been successful in installing the above three offline GPS apps, can you inform how & where you put the offline maps themselves? The above guides just inform how to install app APK but not additional files Thank you |

QUOTE(emy_77 @ Nov 12 2017, 07:26 AM) Has anybody tried rooting the HU & installing apps using the methods below? I can suggest another temporary solution, how about just use mirror link? At least you will not have any trouble setting up offline map on any app. Read my previous post on how to by pass without y-cable installation or rooting HU, and it is reversible.https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/ge...e-2017-t3621582 http://www.civicx.com/threads/finally-cust...-20#post-305630 https://youtu.be/2sfcdPPmgsg https://www.facebook.com/groups/HondaMalays...80944232198220/ I have a query regarding the app installation itself. Our HU android is kinda lousy, running on 4.2.2 then u have the worry about apps that doesn't run on 4.2.2 |
