I can suggest another temporary solution, how about just use mirror link? At least you will not have any trouble setting up offline map on any app. Read my previous post on how to by pass without y-cable installation or rooting HU, and it is reversible.

IMO:
Rooting the device and and fiddling with the HU it's kind of troublesome, especially there are reports of delay in reverse camera and installed app all launch at start-up. Our HU android is kinda lousy, running on 4.2.2 then u have the worry about apps that doesn't run on 4.2.2  rclxub.gif

Will look into your mirrorlink post,

Bro @SackBoy your post this is by far the easiest and best finding so far in fiddling with our HU without doing any hardware or software root

Agree this should be pinned at the beginning of thread

from Honda website, not sure is it you looking for, this is mainly servicing your honda civic cost at each interval
1.8 vs 1.5

do note that 1.5 engine oil and oil filter is not added in (the car minder system will notify you when to change engine oil), thus, you might see the total cost for 1.5 is cheaper than 1.8, you may add in yourself... due to the data is not add in

Even when added in the oil and oil filter, its still cheaper than the 1.8 wor. Cz of the service fee different. Perhaps the one in 1.5 did nt add in service fee for changing engine oil n etc

Just paid booking fee for 1.5TC at PJ Honda Showroom. Very nice SA and rebate as well!

ETA would be early December. Can't decide whether or not to opt for White or Lunar Silver.

Anyhow, any suggestion for body coating services for the Civic?

Hi guys,

Hey anyone bought a car cover for your Civic X before?

Any good recommendations where I can get one that fits this car?

Looking at Lazada, they all quite cheap, but dunno if can fit or protect the car well enough, because I am leaving it for a month.

Appreciate it and thank you guys in advance!!

Hi Guys, any of you encounter this engine check problem with your car.
I have informed honda service center about this and they said got one cable was unplugged underneath the engine and they reset the ecu as well.
Guess what, the problem still continues. Now i have to restart my car around 10 times a day to go my destinations.
Once the engine check indication starts appearing, car start jerking, gear also not shifting properly..
