Does any civic FC owner experience the following :-
Car driving normal in mild traffic, speed roughly 40-50kmph. A traffic light turns red a good distance away so you let go of the gas pedal and let it cruise to a stop. As the car slows to 30+ kmph, I could feel "drag" as if like old cars you pull the hand brake just a bit and enough to cause some noticible drag. At the end of this 'drag' at speed of 20+ kmph the car would jerk slightly. If you put me in the car blindfolded without knowing what car it was, I would've guessed the jerk cause by the auto transmission.
Car's brand new. Like, collected yesterday new. I have no prior cvt experience but the coasting to a stop is anything but smooth. Hoping you guys could share some insight with this problem. I'd like to understand this before I call my Sa.
My car also experience this, I asked SA they say is CVT behavior due to different gear ratio on CVT compare to conventional auto transmission
Hmmm, not sure anyone have this issue anot, when the car is turning left or right into incline or decline, the rear side having a slight ngek ngek sound. Last week claim warranty to change the whole anti roll bar bush due to creaking sound when cross over bump. Now this sound lagi, very tired. Maybe I'm being too sensitive

mine also.. turning left meanwhile abit uphill..rear right got ngekk sound.. like body not enough strength and too flex
Ya we facing the same sound, mine also when turning left only, while right don't have, I sat behind and try to hear the sound while ask my friend to drive, the sound seems coming for speaker area. However, I already made an appointment on next Monday for them to check. Will update to you again.
Having this whining sound everytime during cold start. Wondering if any FB/FC 1.8 owner also having this sound during cold start. After warm up, the sound is gone. Not sure izzit normal?

just repair my gearbox, power steering one months ago, when i go SC they suspect got problem, ask me weekday go again to check if anything then repair. Total cost on invoice is RM6.5k but under warranty so no need to pay.

What symptom you facing on the gearbox and p.steering?
Hey guys, I need some input. Not sure if my gearbox is developing a problem but these past couple of days, it's been behaving weird. It feels almost like a manual gearbox driven by a learner driver where the clutch is released too early when driving off and pressed too late when stopping. It sort of jerks a little bit when coming to a stop or when pressing the accelerator. Any thoughts?
My car was nvr having this CVT jerk issue on the first 3-4 thousand km, then afterward it started to come, until now. Asked SC, say normal due to CVT use lower ratio. A lot of owner also having this behavior. CVT behavior I guess.
maybe my expectation is low because those minor rattling, road and wind noise doesn't really affect me.. importantly it doesn't affect the car..
maybe my previous ride is so noisy until i'm already used to it and civic NVH is 1000% better.. lol
Same situation, my ex car full of wind noise when cruising on 110km/h and have to increase my voice when talk to rear passenger. P.S Civic is not BMW MERCEDES AUDI
Recently I drove my 1.8S, I heard some metallic sound coming from my engine sometimes. For example when coming to a complete stop to a road bump, or hill climb, once I accelerate I heard some krik krik krik coming from the engine just a split second. I been pumping shell RON97 since i get the car. Not sure izzit engine pinging/knocking.
My TC also have the same sound. Especially when accelerate hard after road bump or up hill. or when the road is very rough. I thinks when the car vibrate more the metal part also vibrate.must be something loose. But sometimes the sound disappear.. Aiya don't care la.. just ignore and drive.
Yeah, the sound occur randomly one, today let SC check, at the end SC KIV it and stated need more time to check and ask me wait until it became serious only send back to them. I expected them to reply me "normal bang, honda ma" I guess I just ignore it la

The CVT on my civic has some minor jerking when driving in low speed between 25kmh to 40kmh. Like when you release gas pedal between those speed, then u press gas pedal again will have the jerk. Anyone experience this?
So, quite number of ppl having the low speed jerk, just curious which brand and ron of fuel that you guys usually pump for your car. I tested with 3 different brand of fuel ron95. Brand S & B make the jerk less abit but car less power. Brand P(1) the jerk more but car more powerful. Btw visit SC and say normal also.
Anyone experienced front right of the car somewhere near suspension or wheel well where there’s a soft clunk sound when going over small imperfections in road like auto gate rail? Mine started doing this recently but couldn’t isolate what’s causing it
Early stage symptoms , over the periods, you will feel the steering keep kicking back when you perform a reverse parking with fully turned radius. Then at last will have knocking sound. Mine starting to have sound.
my car dashboard show error i don know what is this any sifu explain what happen ? drive few time then pop up. I tried change keyless battery but after few day error come back again
Seems like push start button issue, btr let SC check
