In short, try searching boxes with unroot status, or that has a root switch (on/off) in their system's settings. If there are sellers who sell boxes with root, kindly ask them to unroot as some of them do provide unrooting service.

I'm currently using Tanix TX6, originally rooted, but the seller unroot it prior sending it to me. The AstroGo app works fine, provided u have a mouse to navigate within the app.

Or u could go for the slightly better spec TX3 model. Iinm it comes with a root switch, much easier to turn off the root status, and run the AstroGo app. I don't own a TX3 therefore I can't tell how the experience with the app, but I do believe it should run fine, if not better than TX6.

I tried the latest version, it doesn't work anymore, have to load back to the old one, is it only me?

I'm currently using an unrooted TX6 and did install the latest Astro on the go apk (2.201). The installation can be done successfully but somehow I am having problem to log in as attached snapshot. Does anyone know what is the problem here? Maybe some internet settings?

What u can do is try same parameters on another device... phone, tablet, another box.

I am using Nvidia Shield, can login and all but when I play something, only sound but display only black screen.

2. try login from handphone, see that astro acc username/ password is valid

Yeah from root check it is showing not rooted. And the acc/username is working from my pc and iPhone. Anything else that I could check?

This happens to the new version AOTG (dated March 26, 2020). So for now just stick with the previous version, that's what I do.

stuttering hd channels on ATV tv's been around ever since the first "new" version a few months ago.
i had tried many things, gave up.

no problem with Q10pro.

if current versions fails, keep using older version(s)... usually last a while.
but that is not good news.

I wanna ask the heavy astro go user here. By heavy I meant watch astro go everyday for around 6 hours straight non stop. What box are u using and any problem running astro go?

If you've been experiencing some Astro Go streaming issues since yesterday (3 Apr 2020), you're not alone.

The issue be like "Some users from this particular ISP having issues using Astro Go, while some users using other ISP has no issue using Astro Go".
*It also includes downloading/streaming content on PVR and Ultra box.

Different ISP, using different CDN (content delivery network).
So far what I know is, most of the severely affected users are TM Unifi customers.
Some users tried using their mobile data hotspot to stream Astro Go. Some telco works, some don't.

So in the meantime, just wait la.
