I am using T95Z Android Box for my Astro Go from the day they launch beta until now and no issues.

Previously, under the "old" Astro Go, the app didn't work but now it works.

quite true the current version is overall less problematic than the old one, works on most unrooted boxes.

it is easier on windows as well.

only known disbenefit is it does not work well on many ATV devices incl smart tv's, unlike old one.

The new Astro Go works with VPN now to a Malaysian server. Previously, the old Astro Go doesn't work with VPN.

Guys, seek your help here ;-) On NVIDIA Shield TV while watching AOTG any programs, like after 10mins - I'm getting kick out or jumps back to main screen. Anyone has this issue and solution for it.

Seems this is quite common, reported by others too.

Try clearing cache every time before u load astrogo.

Sounds like AOTG does have a problem with the graphic device driver.

Folks, on Nvidia Shield thus it still require mouse input to operate astro go?

If still require, what will be the recommended air mouse? Thanks

astrogo is built to work on touchscreen handheld devices.

regular android or atv, a mouse is needed to use on any box in order to navigate fully.

I using Nvidia Shield Pro now. The astrogo work fine with air mouse eg. minix A3 to navigate on some area like exit close

The generic buttons should work as intended.. The Minix specific ones might not.

Hi... you’d have to try it out yourself and or check for a dedicated thread for that TV model. I don’t think anyone has reported such here.

Minix A2 Lite - Home button works, settings button work
Mele F10 Deluxe - Home button not working, settings button work.
MX3 - Home button works, settings button work.

The leanback keyboard creates some pecularities on some apps eg. capital letter arrow becomes enter.
In other apps, it function normal.

Other option, use wire or wireless mouse with original Nvidia remote in both hands.

I am using Mi Box 2 and i can't launch Astro go. Any idea?

For your information, Astro Go don't work on rooted devices. If your devices is rooted, try installing Magisk and hide the root and then it should work. If the device is not rooted, it should work.

actually few days ago, i received Minix A3 remote. bought via shopee.
some findings:
1. power button, recent app, microphone button, setting buttons are not functioning. no response.
2. other buttons seems ok, nice rubber coating but anyhow sometimes can be lagging registering input
3. keyboard seems fine in terms of responsiveness (as long as type slow to medium speed...hard to explain =p)

tested with Astro on the go app for mouse input, seems fine though.
