this new app offers more channels than old v8.2.6.

check channels 3xx... many appear there but not i nold app...

and i seem to see an improved video... improved colors and clarity... perhaps bit rate been raised...

did u flash back yr tx3mini to orig firmware? no good still?

I realize one thing about the App. It was design for swipe capable devices i.e. tablet, smartphones. Which brings me to use an Air Mouse.

Honestly, that is the problem now... midrange fellas geting killed by mass low end while high cost ones survive on unique specialties required by some.

Yup... As more and better HW pops up.. Needs grow.. I remember when camrips and TS files were sufficient for me.. Then later Yify came onboard and basically cornered the market with bluray rips at smaller sizes. Back then, i believe I was using a Noontec box.. Later Minix Neo X7, then up and up.. Now, it's either full 1-1 Bluray 1080p minimum.. Ideally proper 1-1 UHD x265 HDR10/DV for storage, etc... The more complex the files have become, the better the players must be to handle them... Makes me wonder what's next after Google's VP9 & HEVC/H.265 codecs for 8K res..
I've experienced a crash or 2.. But not regularly. Some days, I can have the app running for hours on live TV without a single hiccup. Another time while watching a a backtracked channel, somewhere along the way, the app just crashes or pops an error. IIRC, something about this live view is finished or similar.. Then I have to hit the back button and restart the channel. What device and apk are you running?

1GB system misbehaves, nothing else to blame except too little memory. The system might have killed some necessary background processes thereby causing the foreground app to crash.

install aida64 and reconfirm ur box ram capacity.. as tx3 mini variants are only 1GB/8GB and 2GB/16GB..

Could be or simply the app doesn't play well with whatever fw you are running. Others gave some suggestions. Do verify actual HW and if really 1GB RAM? I'm sorry... Return and get your money back if possible.. Either way, either seek out other ROMs that might fare better or no choice, have to junk it and get a new box.

did u check under settings, more settings?

u can see the ino there - storage and memory.

under memory, u can see total ram of the box.
as for getting kicked out of astrogo, i have seen it with tx3mini wifi, happens sometimes but not often; doesn't happen with tx3 ethernet connected.

to be sure it is not due to wifi weak and/or unstable which can cause it, use ethernet and see if any diff.
