update on 5ghz and heat issue

so yeah today the 5ghz died again because the fan fell off the shelf

i think the ambient temperature in my house is a hot 31 degrees.

I'm not really care, furthermore there are fan filter, just clean the filter once a while, i'm more worried if without fan the heat will make the router malfunction.

For those who install fans on their AC68U/AC86U, remember that the best way to install the fan is to suck out the hot air from the router, not blow in air into the router
Blowing in air into the router will also bring lots of particles and dust into the router that may cause short circuit

Whereas sucking hot air out from the router will reduce the number of dust going into the router

Eh wait....I mean, the link to the fan. lol. I got the AC88u. Seems hot but no issues so far even though it's been kept in a cabinet. Just wanna make sure that it doesn't die early on me. lol

Got a bad news from friend, his China AC86U just died, less than 3 months he using the router, i'm going to help him send back to China since i help him bought from Taobao.

Does anyone has the the problem with the DDNS? It caused the AICloud is not be able to use at all?
I think the problem is in the DDNS updater, it captures a wrong Public IP, because I can see my home Public IP on the whatismyip.com
when I was using the nslookup in the Asus Router to check what is the IP that my ddns name is having, it shows me a different result, which is different than the whatismyip.com
anybody facing this problem?

This could be your home is not given a Public IP.

got this router after researching about it to replace tp link archer c7.
had to return the first unit after 5Ghz wifi became unusable after one day.
so far the 2nd unit is fine except for one problem. its hard for the hypptv stb to connect to the service.
it has the error code 108005. switching the stb off and on will get it working if lucky. already set the iptv service to unifi home in the settings using lan4.
if it does connect, hypptv is usable without any errors. just hard to connect once it is switched on from off state.
even archer c7 is better as it is instant connected. regret spending so much to buy this router with this kind of problem. the seller said to reset the router when i mentioned this problem. same problem after resetting.
wondering if anyone have any fix for this problem.

Yes. China version. Version 1.5 2018 5ghz is ok. Just having problems with hypptv. Slow or cant connect on lan 4. Previous archer c7 was almost instant after switching on the stb.
