Ha! Ha! Great Setup...
Nice DVD collection. I guess the only problem is, you got to enjoy your setup alone.

Anyway, where did you get all those DVD cabinets? Basic yet useful.

I'd been doing movie collections since VCD days... and currently stand on about 1K++ titles.
Those DVDs racks are made of color boxes which I bought from Carrefour some years ago... basically just stacked it up with extra wall plug and screws to hold the structure on permanent basis.

My wife is not a big fan of movies.. so I guess I am the lone ranger enjoying the setup!

Yeah, would like to know your dvd collections are "original" ?
If so, I salute you.........I will feel ashamed of myself as 90% of my dvds are ahem ripped ones.

Well... some Oris... the rest are majority good quality D9.. only small% are in D5... ( sweat.gif Paiseh... sweat.gif ) Calculated before... had invested no less than 15K on all titles...
Frankly, I prefer to collect movies I love than concentrate building/upgrading an ultimate HT system (Can never satisfy). Since childhood days I'd urged to build my own movies library.. and "the force is still strong" icon_rolleyes.gif

I still have about 200++ titles pending catalogue and box-up for storage.

Nowadays local don't have good quality D9 liao... nowadays I "masuk stock" only from Hanoi Vietnam whenever I am there for business. Their D9 are much better and cheaper -> a little less than USD2 per disc (VND30K) inclusive those BD copy with no fake DTS track & less video compression. D5 would be about VND15K per disc (About USD$1) Cheap right?

Somehow, I still prefer the "oldie" british made speakers. If preserve well, their sound quality are still good and definitely audiophile grade. I'd been collecting British bookshelf eversince 10 years ago (when I started to indulge Hifi)... no reason to upgrade to the recent models since the oldie still doing a fine job.

The next upgrade probably the AV Receiver if ever I am getting BD Player, Need DD/DTD True HD Decoder. icon_idea.gif
