All those recent pixs also claim is entry level ... who else dare to post any more pix ... ?
I'm setting up my AV room, will soon post ... after i figure how to describe the below "entry level" standard and below "longkang fish" definitions ...
Any suggestions ?
BASIC ? Student ? or Cincai AV for maids, children or my wife ... anything else ?  rclxub.gif

Relax bro. It's a malaysian thing to stay humble (false humility or otherwise), as we all know there will always another pic of killer system from someone else that will blow our setup away. Just post, so long as YOU are enjoying YOUR system and wanna share. I would like to believe those getting into HT is not a snob bunch who will laugh at lesser setups. To make you feel better, some of my gears are second hand...

jc, what's the size of the screen? how high is it from the floor? i mean the distance from the bottom of the screen to the floor
*
It's 8' (horizontal) to fit a 100" projection. Height about 5' from the floor, reason is simply to clear the floorstanders and a ceiling light.

Actually am not sure of the height from the floor. Relooking at the pic, it is more likely between 3-4'. Since my center speaker stand is the conventional 24". My ceiling height is normal height about 10'.

If so, I salute you.........I will feel ashamed of myself as 90% of my dvds are ahem ripped ones.

Oops.
Pana AE700 PJ
Yammy 1800
Aad floorstander
AE Evo center
Klipsch rear
Jalan Pasar 10" sub, just for the really low rumbles, all LE atriculation comes from floorstanders.
Sources - PS3 + HTPC (zoomplayer/ffdshow for downloaded 720/1080p mkv, wmv)

Other stuff are for music listening.
Norh SE tube
Harbeth P3 speakers
Thorens turntable
NAD CDP

Hey, you pick the wrong setup to faint lah, those are music-only gears in the mix. Sorry for the confusion, see item list above.

Fact is, I fainted when I saw your HT project thread.

kakaka.... I start to doubt myself already. PsPboy's HT kills all of us in 1 shot.

As for my setup... nothing close to all ur setups.
Even for music listening... it still big bombs.

Hmmm....

Klipsch rear - bipole?. Sorry to disappoint. Promedia spares. See, entry-level!

If you dont consider Jln Pasar sub and pc speaker as entry level, I dont know what is. These are taboo stuff for htkaki and other gurus here.

I was inspired by your project, so pls dont stop. Everyone is waiting for your update pics I believe.

lets set a guideline here sweat.gif .... proposal smile.gif

< RM10,000 = entry
RM10,001 ~ RM30,000 = semi-intermediate
RM30,001 ~ RM 60,000 = intermediate
RM60,001 ~ RM100,000 = semi-pro
> RM100,000 = pro
> RM200,000 = senior pro
> RM300,000 = u name it!!! laugh.gif
