avast is free.
using it right now.
i've thrown that piece a' crap called norton antivirus away for now..

avast could detect viruses in my system which norton couldnt doh.gif

home use,avast is free.
norton either home or office both must pay... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

just notice this stupid problem. i think alot of ppl also have it in 6205tx

need to restart when wan to use webcam. this problem occur when i leave it on whole day, in between got switch to sleep mode.

wtf zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

any of u played C n C 3 on this lappie?

its 3 days for warranty repair/claim, standard, cant argue with that.

last time when i sent my 6203tx there, i asked them, what if after warranty claim the problem still there, and the lady said 'we replace until u satisfied and come to an extent (cant be repaired) we will replace new set for u'

Added on April 11, 2007, 9:04 amfor vista camp & nvidia geforce go 7400 users, there is a new/latest driver from HP and also from microsoft. go check it out.

download either from HP updates software or windows update.

add me in to da club... using 6205...
currently playing C & C 3 with no problem... if u turn on all high setting... sure will lag at the beginning of the game... but it become smooth back after awhile of playing... not sure why... my setting for the game is high + medium (800 * 600)..

lol...there is always some alternative to work around the paying part wat.. tongue.gif besides, norton products just suck out too much ram...resulting in an overall slower system...hehe...

hmm...webcam problem??does this mean i can send back to get a replacement unit?? or issit due to software fault...still have yet to try it on my lappie...hehe

you sure or not??? i'm trying to overheat my comp so that my internal parts all fried, do you think that is covered in the warranty?? tongue.gif any suggestions?? planning for the worst if i cant get my laptop replaced...sad.gif

Yea, i am dv6205 admire but since that no stock in pc-fair so i end up with BenQ R55 which is my 2nd choise. tongue.gif

It should work fine in that settings too... No prob.. i havent tried.... if u wanna play with 1280x 800 with high settings.. i think i can be done if u got 2G ram~

think i need to upgrade my warranty pan first before getting additional ram...i already using 1x1gb now.. tongue.gif

i think its covered. check with them.

doubt it's hardware based,since a simple restart sets it back anew..

hmm...i certainly hope so....haiz.....its been 2 days plus already..send it in on monday morning...till now no call from them yet.. unsure.gif mayb they really forgotten bout me already...scrap the notebook off....i'll give them a call tomorrow if i dun get it....
