i'd say 6205 still an overall winner...the difference between T2250 and T2350 is like just 5% at most... but with a slower display card, you'll see the effect when playing games...but those can be covered up by overclocking your display cards....7400 is just slightly faster on its core and ram speed...others are identical..haha

hmm....can you take a pic of it when its in post screen (the 1 where they have this big HP invent logo" wanna see if got option to press F11 or not...did you burn out the recovery disc?

there are just 2 options..

I'm trying to get dv6205TX from my reseller. luckily my invoice stated dv6205.hope it help. I afraid can't ask for refund coz I use Aeon.Dammit..hate it when things like this happen. Why HP discontinued the model when i'm buying it

I dont think my DVDs are the one you need. The default Windows in my DV is Media Center Edition, not Vista. Even though I have Vista, but I am not installing it yet.

Anyway, if you need something informative. I have found something for you.
The following link refer to a Malaysian who is able to extract the HP setting while doing clean install of Windows. It is quite tedious, so do it at your own risk.

The HP notebook formatting guide may be useful for other DV users as well.
