This lappy is still popular. But none of them spam here. lol.
I am trying the hackintosh soon. Now still playing with Ubuntu 7.10.

Anyway, TS has been successfully installed Ubuntu 7.10 and have everything running fine. Maybe he can give some comment.

hmm...detecting multiple networks? care to explain more about ur problem?
*
when i plug in the LAN cable to the lapie its starts detecting the netowrk, then it will have unidentified networks which are multiple network and its only connected to local only.

I have to cmd>ipconfig/release and then cmd/ipconfig/renew then diagnose the network adapter then it will be able to connect to the internet.

I'm using a DV6126TX and thinking of upgrading... I had 1GB of RAM and the 7400Go Geforce card.

i want to make it 2gb ram, do i buy ddr2 or something else?

can i upgrade to a d10x card like the 8600m gt or 8700m gt? is this advisable?

Thanks ppl
