Dun thing they will remove anytime soon.... If happen 1st rider fight with 2d rider and went up to media like the punch case, then they or gov may step in to abolish this GS

about 50% of the time I get matched ride, 2nd rider will cancel. asked my GS rider yesterday if he ever got match, he said so far only once matched....
for these cases, I think if a rider cancel a matched ride for any reason he should not be allowed to book GS again for at least two hours.
I think if grab increase the matching rate confirmed GS ride will go down a lot. not sure also what's the benefit for grab to keep GS.. lower commission for them too. maybe because Uber got Uber pool, they also must have same features??

Got once pickup in Um, 1st rider book, GS then 4 ppl came, all want to go same place, then only 2 can board, then they said book the GS again hope to get the same car so can go together...then OK lo....could get double the fare for the same trip...y not ?

But it went to another driver.......

Incentive vs non incentive.. which better? Bcz my star rating keep dropping.. now 4.85.. scare below 4.70.. no incentive ride ok?

think on other side, for those youngster just enter to work industry, salary not high, no own transport, everyday grabcar really kill their salary. GS is very good for them.

think on commercial wise, driver cannot be too sentimental. have to take care on their own income.

This type of rider is the typical type of penny wise, pound foolish.

For example,
Grab car fare RM10
Grabshare fare RM7

Apply promo code RM6 so Grabshare pay RM1, but u need to incurred more time if match, with normal grabcar RM10 split it up to 4 person also RM1 each.

Nasi Lemak or Mee Goreng which one is better? Again no one can answer except u

Based on your experience driving around, select the type suitable for u, nobody can help u decide, the rating 4.85 seem decent, below 4.8 only start worry about it.

total trip from July til today > 100 trips too

GS is just a strategy product.

although GS acceptance rate is drop...

i think they maintain GS is to extend their market exposure. in long run, will get benefit to company (IT company treat # of user as "potential revenue pool". especially, if they want to get fund from investor.)

No sympathy at all, if you cant afford it, use bus/train and WALK. malaysians extremely averse to walk, yesterday I got RM3 job for a distance of 250 meters .......

I kena one just now. GS>promo>rm3 ride...

my first grab job was cancelled by the rider... when the request ping came in at SS17, i just pressed accept and then the screen turned to grab's blurry map with rider's name on top( the color so dark and can't see clearly also). I didn't know where was the button to start the navigation and therefore i just pressed here and there. fortunately somehow i managed to start the navigation and started driving to the destination. when i reached the destination, i'm not sure how many times i pressed the button "i'm here" as i din't see the word "msg sent". i thought the button should have turned to red or other colors once you press it. waited for few minutes then received a cancellation message... cursed like hell. So i checked back the cancelled job and it was short trip ride from SS19 to SS15 courtyard. Then only I realized i went to the drop off place, SS15 courtyard for the pick up. The rider must have been wondering why i was at his intended destination place and kept sending him "I'm here".

you know what maybe instead of that tutorial that grab make you take every time you install the app, a more effective way is the first few jobs for fresh grab drivers, when a ping come in, the app display some banner or hints to guide you what to do.... like press here for pick up, press here to go to Passenger pickup location etc etc...

they should stop all those promo popups. very irritating. There are also many times I accidentally press picked up because I was right on the spot when the request comes. I don't bother to read. Just ok, ok to get the box out of the way...

No need to cancel. It gives more options to riders like me. Only drivers dont like it and always complain

Only minuscule percentage really appreciate GS, the rest only like the price but turn sour when have to share...🙄

Haha then grab driver consider white collar or blue collar

of course current system riders like la... cos they are almost guaranteed not matched, is free 20% discount. if changed to a system where only if got matched ride, then both parties can proceed... see whether you still like or not.,😝
if I not mistaken this is the system that Lyft in US use.
