Used to offer Promo code all day long and high demand everywhere, those non-frequent user also using it and churn up the demand and surcharge is just gone up too crazy, some customer complain about it and Grab limit the usage after that

max commission = high fares, grab gets more commission la.

oooh that makes sense... promo during peak hour increases surcharge. But the flip side, more use GS during peak to save $$.
Anyway I think common sense say in business...when high demand, no need give discount. Actually you want to increase price some more

From my house to outside shop 800m, now fares is rm5.
Few weeks ago it is rm4
Few month ago it is rm3

all about this timing and non busy area

I believe RM5 is high fare

the fare on peak hour = (1.4 x 0.8) + 2 = RM3.12 (Round up to RM4)
Non peak would be RM3

Only once i gave driver 3 star cos twice wrong turn at crossroad even with Waze, delay 30 mins of my time. This is grabcar, when i use normal grabcar, i dont like delays if not due to jam.

I am a newbie grab driver , I have a question to ask , my accept rate is 100% cancel rate is around 4.5 % and my star rating is 4.95 , I do 82 job last week , why grab only give me RM102 incentive , am I missing something to hit the grab pro programs? I just don't understand how the incentive work , can any sifu give me some guide? Thank you

Dun rely too much on the incentive la.

are you grab pro yet? you will receive sms from grab confirming your status, whether it's Pro or flexi. only after you get the sms you start receive incentive.
also you will receive email from your incentive breakdown, that email will say what your status is.

They implement the age restriction to ensure cars are of recent releases and have modern features.
So, when the time comes and your car is deemed too old for their criteria, replace it.

Every new drivers would have a preloaded RM15 wallet (called Credit Balance). This starting amount is subject to change.
This section is where Grab will auto-deduct commission whenever you accept a job.

Let's say you receive a RM4 job. Grab will deduct RM1 (25% from the RM4) from this Credit Balance.
You will take the RM4 for your own use. That's yours completely.
NOTE: new Grab drivers subjected to 25% commission. older drivers get 20% (eg. Grab take 80cent from RM4 job).

If the Credit Balance drops below RM15, you won't get any jobs. You can buy a top-up via E-pay (buy from Petronas station, ask for Grab top-up). Generally, new drivers will buy top-up first before starting their drive.

I bought a RM20 using my own money. Then, after completing several jobs, you can use your earned income to buy more top-ups if required.

where are the drivers nowadays ?

i focusing in bukit jalil area. but observe mostly not many drivers in sri petaling/bukit jalil during 8am to 5pm during SEAs. where does those driver go ?

i know many still camp in APU but big chulk used to camp in arena green and lrts station one already MIA to where ??

i have to ignore few high fare trip as i only small fare during UP and H hrs.

or in general lesser Grab/Uber driver now ?

what are the trips mostly like in bkt jalil? for drivers like me who live in the North, if we go to bkt jalil we want to camp there for short trips for the UP hours, otherwise waste time and petrol.
so far this week haven't got one ping yet to go from PJ area to bkt jalil.
