Nothing special whoever on the RM 10 top up also has RM 200 discount but HyppTV is charged full RM 90. So still 189 eventually.

I would like to register for Unifi. I'm based in Shah Alam.

Any idea what's the best way to get the best deal? Would it better to go to TM Point, or would it be better to engage with TM agent/reseller?

Oh well, I just noticed there's a 30Mbps for RM139, while I'm on 5Mbps with RM136.75.

Is there's any way to upgrade it? Simply not fair when I found the promo....

Go to TM Point and nego with them, and try to convince them that it is unfair to you and you want to upgrade your speed to 30 and pay the same amount you are paying now.

if there is rumors that 100Mbps will be cheaper, i think it is the way to go? Since for most of us, the breakdown shows that is the maximum discount they can give to the broadband service (unifi) alone WITHOUT HyppTV or other things. if no HyppTV or other things, the price can go really really low.

No la. Many of us got, RM 189 for 100Mbps, RM 10 top up from RM 179 for 50Mbps. He only shared Internet portion, there's another portion for HyppTV RM 90, total is RM 189.

they still have this offer in 2018? I missed the boat last year now stuck paying 232 for 50mbps.

You try asking from nearest TM Point, few users who paid much higher managed to reduce to 189 for 100Mbps.

it is a matter of biz strategy and revenue & cost allocation.

it will be unwise for unifi to junk unifitv so as to offer low internet prices.

in time to come, when their muscle gets bigger, they can bring EPL, Sky, Bein and other premium channels.

and/or upgrade unifi playtv to HD - that's when they can even raise prices on unifi tv.

they way they are doing it now is to accurately allocate their relevant costs to the specific profit centers while allowing marketing to do an effective job.

To add salt to your wound, it's only RM 139 now for 30Mbps.

You gotta try and speak to the manager.. Or raise a case with MCMC if it doesn't work.
