Mine also got problem, they pro-rate the discount but charged full amount on my STD20 and Hypptv package (for 1 month + 1 month advance), which costs additional RM8.xx.
I had live chat to make a report on this, need to wait 15 days for the result.

Bill running but connection of unifi will be disconnect for router and modem. Will make payment until installation done. But didnt use the service due to relocation takes time, thats why request for rebate

as you all know, unifi new package 30 mbps is RM 130 something. I am currently using unifi 30mbps RM187. can I downgrade the price to rm130 ? The package still under contract.

if not permanent, just terminate or downgrade after contract finish. By that time, i think there are other better plan around.

Guys, correct me if I'm wrong on this,

the fiber cable, along with the casing from the FDP (pole, ground, mdf room or whatever) is not chargeable as long as it is a standard installation right? Even if the nearest FDP is like 30m away from your house or something. Or is there a new condition like, "if the nearest FDP is 'x' meters away from the unifi installation location (house, apt, etc), it is chargeable."

if no longer under contract or contract almost over you can try and ask tm for new equipment.
my out of warranty hypptv box malfunctioned so I contacted them to inquire about a replacement. they said they can replace it for free if I renew the contract for 2 years.. if I don't want they will charge me RM400 (or thereabouts, can't remember the exact price)
I should have asked for a new router as well even though I'm already using my own router bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

Tm technician just came and did my upgrade today to 100mbps. He just did a speed test and left a brand new dir850 for me..(I asked for tplink archer but it is out of stock) so now I have 2 same router.

Any1 know how to check what is the std20 free call balance?

Yes. They only provide new router if your previous router does not support 100Mb/s. The others will never be provided

Is checking the balance important? Nowadays calls are free on the mobile phones.

AFAIK, TM provides you with a stock router whether you would like to use it or use your own.
In order to get a new router, you need to dig out your old stock router to show that it could not support 100Mbps.

.. they base the decision to change or not on the record what they last supplied you.
.. no matter u use yr own equipment, if last router from them is no good for 100mbos, u get new one
.. new router likely tplink ac1200 - gigabit, ac dual band - not good imo - i replaced it within 24 hrs. tongue.gif
.. dect phone, stb... no, u get +1yr warranty, that's all.
