Hi, is TM Edu Pack RM99 for 10 Mbps still available today? I read the PDF/lowyat link said the promotion is until December 2018, but the official flyer said till 2017 only.

I now use rtac1300uhp, full speed, good stuff. |

I measured if I were to get ethernet cable, I'd need about 25-30 meters. If calculate distance, somewhere around 10 meters? Under 50 ft. Got wall in between PC and router. Router is in living room, PC is in office room. On a side note, is the +RM10 upgrade promo still available? This post has been edited by xHj09: Jan 20 2018, 08:21 PM |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jan 20 2018, 09:11 PM) if u can afford the time, money and "mess", ethernet is always better. i'm really surprised how you can get maximum speed using wifi, are there no interference? but in my years, i never had to... never had to do homeplug, extender, repeater... just wifi with rtn12hp_b1 and now rtac1300uhp - both served their purpose very well. i've tested AP and wifi extender, both sucks. currently using wifi extender for phone usage upstairs. yeah thank god I still have a 25-30meters cat5e cable from my old house like 13 years ago. roughly tried measuring, definitely need a 50meter, might buy a coupler with a 25/35m cat5e to extend. ever heard of coupler reducing speed or increasing latency? |
