I just collected a K7 today. And true enough, it did not disappoint!
The PAF7 pickups are very clear for chords when played under heavy distortion. It gets two thumbs up!

omg u gotten ur k7 already? XD thats kool val, thts one of my fav. 7th string guitar the new Apex 1 looks nice as well. same here bro, i had tough time bring up the tune frm low A flat back to standard B. those floyd rose bridge for 7s are a monster. heh..

lol yea. its a perfect fit. I just take off the horn side and leave the bottom one attached and lay it over the case(over the closed compartment side)

both the rg7620 and rg7321 using default pickups, the rg1527 i change it to a dimarzio Evolution 7 pickups. still i love to own a sig. korn guitar one day heh..kinda pricey that one.

I don't think the s7320 is a Prestige... the only current Ibanez 7-string Prestige is the RG1527 according to the Ibanez website...

Yeah! Now there are 3 known 1527s lurking in the Sanctuary... 1527 ROXXORS for the 7! wei... I read that Chris Broderick uses the 1527...

I'm not sure which pickups I want yet, EQ777. Torn between Blaze or Evo 7. Blaze would be pretty similar to the Steve's Special I'm having now, but quite boring la...every guitar having the same sound..

But then again, not sure if the Evo 7 will blend well with the mahogany body. I'm just worried it'll all end up in mush.

Oh and my friend just showed me a Jeff Loomis Schecter 7 String Signature guitar! Holy Thunderforce, it was gorgeous! It had a maple fretboard with some kinda Cross Inlays, Floyd Rose bridge and a Stained Body Finish!

well if you want your tone to be distinct and noticeable then get the same lo. . .

i understand your concern but i guess if you wan different sounds then try different pups. . . if you like your own current tone then stick with it and get the same one. . .

you could try D-Activators if you like Active's or X2N

D-Sonic if you're really free and like heavy stuff.. . free cause you can mess around with the pole piece. . .

the others are quite self explanatory. . .just listen to Vai for the vai pups and Korn and co for the PAF and others. . .

i really recommend the Air Norton for the neck as it seems to be the best =) even im getting it. . .but if thats the case you can get another then we can compare tone =D

yea loomis schecter looks good wei but i just dont like the schected neck and body. . . dont really feel the guitar. .. lmao

i;ve seen rusty cooley's sig 7s omg..i'm in love with that guitar, gotta have it lol the graphics on the 25.5 neck scale looks awesome plus the EMG 707 pickups its using. i wonder how much dough would it cost someone to own this girl.
