Im planning to apply for the Unifi Lite biz package too. The Rm199 is not inclusive of calls right? The marketers were still trying to push the unifi advance biz package at Rm299-Rm20 Discount = Rm279.

We all know that Unifi Lite 10mbps no hypptv stb.

They are some interesting channel in HyppTV, such as RTL CBS Extreme HD & Warner TV HD. All cheap if you compare with astro.

But if your house already have astro. It just like you waste the money for it. But do note some HyppTV channels not available in Astro. Like NHK World TV HD & Boomerang HD.

RM129 can get 20mbps?

good if u on HSBB area.. no need to waste your money on unifi lite. go pro 100mb or advance biz 30 / 50mb. my area is subb area. no luck for advance / pro package.

Bro Rm199 and Rm299 is quite a difference. We are not really running any network servers which require fast network speeds. So yeah, we could do with the Lite package. Just that Im on a very value package right now we are enjoying with streamyx so we will need to consider if we are upgrading to lite biz. Thanks for the heads up.

If I subscribe to rm129 10mbps unifi lite now, am I still eligible for the free double speed upgrade mentioned by Najib in Bajet?

no, TM will says it's only eligible for users that register before end of February 2017... so yeah.
also afaik it only applies to unifi advance and unifi pro..

I've just made enquiry to live chat CS in regards of 20Mbps upgrade,
the CS was helpful and make report toward their sales team,
once they checked my eligibility for the promotion, their sales team will contact me.
lets see how it turns out.

Technical limitations?
What is the max speed on VDSL?
Not counting runs in apartment buildings.

not a tech junkie but pretty sure it can at least reach 30Mbps threshold

VDSL2 can reach 100mb

but based on technical spec for unifi lite, vdsl2 for tm must be below 1km from street kabinet to premise

, so look at the graph the max speed is 30 ?



based on my dsl stat on my modem, max attainable rate is 130mb , distance between my street cabinet and my home only 50m..

they change the pricing, now the price looks better to attract potential customers.

VDSL threshold is 50mbps

i bought second hand HyppTV Box RM100 and manage to install HyppTV Everywhere inside there.. at first difficult for me because i think the GooglePlay can retrieve and install the HyppTV Everywhere directl, but the googleplay show incompatible device.

So i install the ES Explorer and the install the HyppTV apk to the hypptv white box. At first i stuck with difficulty to select the channel even using remote control provided. The i am using the RM10 optical mouse.. Yes.. the cursor let me choose the TV easily.

Now my hypptv box install with Terrarium TV instead of using KODI.. If you love movie and hate to lot of step in add ons during KODI.. This Terrarium TV is the best..

OCC unifi portal no use anymore, default is MYTM portal for unifi.

i can still login to OCC Portal... More detail compared to MyTM
