As I suspected. In the Segambut side bordering Mont Kiara. Saw an empty plot of land above NSE.

How far up are these developers willing to develop around Jln Kiara 3/Jln Segambut? The road is narrow and dy pretty jammed during peak hours. I wouldn't be surprised if complaints about the overdevelopment along that road will crop up sooner or later.

IMO, jk3 has great potential. It's in MK itself. The squatters area isn't really that huge, and being squatters, can b easily kaodim...

The land is south of NSE opposite Richmond condo. It wraps around Impian Villas in a C shape. All existing houses on the land has been demolished and waiting to be cleared. Interestingly one small part of the land is across the Jalan Segambut/Jalan Kiara 3 road which is right next to Jalan Kiara 4.

has anyone seen a project like this before, where the land is C shaped wrapping around another development?

First time I come across a high-rise project encircling another project, particularly a gated and guarded landed houses compound like Impian Villas. I'll be expecting the owners there to raise a stink once Bon Estates commence the construction on Bon Kiara.

4-5 years construction period too I think

There is a sales gallery there, but the show units are for The Estates, not for Bon Kiara.

Not sure when will they create a show unit for the latter, tho.

yes. why ah? it's perfectly possible, and perfectly legitimate. No legal issues.

however if u r a buyer, then it's up to u whether u want to buy such a projek.

if you don't like the plot shape, move on...so many projek for choosing

possibly! depends on how "nice" the encircling projek is. if it's like low cost 1000 units encircling my G&G bungalow, i probably won't be happy kekeke

Well, that depends on the temperament of the Villa Impian residents there. Some of them may not like the piling works and the dust from the construction site that will be going on soon at their backyard, regardless of how nice the project is plus its commercial element. Look at how 11 residents from Tiara Faber, 1 Desa and Desa Eight are protesting the construction of The Address phase 1 and 2 then you get the idea dy.
