That seems to be what everyone wants to know.

The way I see it, if the location was very good, convenient and strategic, they would probably be very open about it

Since the location is so TOP SECRET, means its probably not so desirable

In Mont Kiara, less desirable location means either in the Kampung, next to highway, or next to the TNB transmission lines

My guess is that its somewhere in the Kampung next to the elevated NKVE Highway

my guess is next to TWY2 and the future RUMAWIP.

Maybe is the hartamas STP land. Near shell. It's about 4 to 5 acres. Flanking here may means dual commercial. This plot of land can create dual frontage due to split level and both are main roads.
Dbkl land up for JV for sometime. Required to rebuild stp etc
*
dont think so, likely will be nearer segambut dalam. if at this location they will call it hartamas already, not MK, as the cachet of "hartamas" is on par with the name "MK".

Heard on bfm today the MD Goh say they choose land in niche locations that give value (meaning cheaper) and will follow this concept for building up their klang valley land bank.
*
he blah blah blah, but did he mention exactly where.

no he did not mention where. but the other things he said like "niche" and "value", i think not a good location within MK, which we all expected already. but if damn good concept and product on 4 acres, should sell better than those copy and paste condo.

thumbsup.gif thanks for the link

has anyone seen a project like this before, where the land is C shaped wrapping around another development?
*
yes. why ah? it's perfectly possible, and perfectly legitimate. No legal issues.

however if u r a buyer, then it's up to u whether u want to buy such a projek.

if you don't like the plot shape, move on...so many projek for choosing

First time I come across a high-rise project encircling another project, particularly a gated and guarded landed houses compound like Impian Villas. I'll be expecting the owners there to raise a stink once Bon Estates commence the construction on Bon Kiara.
*
possibly! depends on how "nice" the encircling projek is. if it's like low cost 1000 units encircling my G&G bungalow, i probably won't be happy kekeke

*
it's really not as uncommon as you may expect tongue.gif

OK, off the top of my head, google UBER 388 condo in upper east coast singapore there. the condo plot encircles two semi dee or something like that.

Singapore? Lol then it’s not exactly “common” in Malaysia is it?
*
I'm more familiar with singapore market so i give example there.
i'm sure i've seen such property in msia as well.

I said "not as uncommon as what you think". There's a difference.

you ask for example i give u example then you LOL,. up to you lah what to believe! how is it so difficult for you to imagine. Let's say developer buy up 20 houses to build a condo, but 3 houses in the centre don't want to sell, you end up the developer build around the 3 houses lor.

I thought in spore you dun need 100% consensus to sell. I think only needed 70% nia.

here you do need 100% consensus to sell.
*
Yes you're right, Singapore if property is older need lesser % consensus ... but...
I was referring to landed properties.
Anyway my point is .... Odd shaped plot are found in dense areas.
That was it. I wasn't saying good or no good.
