Don't forget, what is surrounding villa impian, all squatters, which is not the case for the taman desa properties you mentioned.

I believe most villa impian owners are happy that somebody is developing the land. they would've preferred landed or low rise but i'm sure they know it is impossible. whatever bon's plans, it is better than squatters. a big problem for the next few years would be wind carrying debris, paint and even concrete.

villa crystal is a bit similar to taman desa case, there is a land next to it full of mature trees but approved for a high rise condo. they put up a banner "say no to overbuilt". i'm sure they won't protest if it was squatters on the land.

OK, off the top of my head, google UBER 388 condo in upper east coast singapore there. the condo plot encircles two semi dee or something like that.

In many cities, high rise next to shorter buildings/shophouses is more common. to think of it C shape land also not common what more developments. BON's 858 units can't be mostly low rise, so expect significant blocking of sunlight for impian villas which in some countries is not legal, but malaysia ok lah but anyway congrats to impian villas owners

Anyway my point is .... Odd shaped plot are found in dense areas.

Your guess is as good as mine. After the last update where they cleared the land around Villa Impian, there's no squeak from the developer on its soft launch or even any form of promo. The last event on this project was some feedback gathering session on the preference of home buyers at APW.

Pity. Really interested on what the whole project looks like coz the last time I was there for their Bloc Party, their video only showed the commercial element.

Wonder if they're still waiting for the right time to launch or negotiating with the architect on how to design the project based on the feedback collected at the party.

They are demolishing the squatter area buildings today.



Just wondering if they will be opening up the road which links Jalan Kiara 3 and Jalan Duta Kiara, to ease the congestion.

also if you pan to the right at twy, you can spy on the progress of the access road to twy from jalan segambut/kiara 3. that may answer your question.

part of the bon kiara land is on the alignment of jalan kiara 4.

Couldn't see it clearly.

From google maps seems like it's possible to build the road.
