Based on the link I received via the Starproperty Team Email: http://ts.bonkiara.com, it mentioned, 'Own a dream home for less than RM 500k'. I have a hunch that this development may include studios or 1 bedders. hmm.gif

Btw, this party is at the Art Printing Works (APW) at Bangsar, btw.

Went to the Bloc Party at APW yesterday. Got 2 food trucks there and a room where some new retailers set up their booths selling their wares plus a room where the Bon Estates staff are based in soliciting feedback from the crowd there. Not that many ppl if you ask me, but quite a number attended it.

But as I mentioned, it's more like a feedback gathering session than an actual preview of this project. Even one of the SA stationed there didn't divulge which part of Mont Kiara it's based in and just mentioned a commercial block (shown in the video) which is designed by APW to house F&Bs, retail outlets, etc.

But from the questionnaire, they only mentioned the unit sizes and the indicative pricing:
1) 650 sqft (1 + 1 bedder) - RM 49xk
2) 790 sqft (1 + 1 bedder) - RM 69xk
3) 1,090 sqft - duplex (2 + 1 bedder) - RM 79xk
4) 1,200 sqft (3 + 1 bedder) - RM 9xxk

I have a hunch that it will be subject to change, but a lot of the questionnaires are getting feedback such as the need for a balcony, whether the unit should have a flexi wall, a yard and even getting the details as to the sort of facilities needed such as a pool, sauna, gym, etc.

I just amended my post as the 1,090 sqft is a duplex unit.

Based on what I saw in the questionnaire, there doesn't seem to be any dual-key units at all. hmm.gif

No idea either. Best bet is to wait until the actual launch for all of the details to be confirmed.

If that is very likely the case, then expect the Jln Kiara 3/Jln Segambut road to be even more jam in the next few years unless DBKL can find a way to alleviate the traffic from that road. wacko.gif

Well, at least both sounds a lot better than Segambut. tongue.gif

But to me, North Kiara makes more sense coz of how close it is to Mont Kiara to the north. In the case of Villa Crystal using the moniker 'Desa Park South', doesn't really fit coz it's quite far away from Desa Parkcity, tho. hmm.gif

First time I come across a high-rise project encircling another project, particularly a gated and guarded landed houses compound like Impian Villas. I'll be expecting the owners there to raise a stink once Bon Estates commence the construction on Bon Kiara.

There is a sales gallery there, but the show units are for The Estates, not for Bon Kiara.

Well, that depends on the temperament of the Villa Impian residents there. Some of them may not like the piling works and the dust from the construction site that will be going on soon at their backyard, regardless of how nice the project is plus its commercial element. Look at how 11 residents from Tiara Faber, 1 Desa and Desa Eight are protesting the construction of The Address phase 1 and 2 then you get the idea dy.

Your guess is as good as mine. After the last update where they cleared the land around Villa Impian, there's no squeak from the developer on its soft launch or even any form of promo. The last event on this project was some feedback gathering session on the preference of home buyers at APW. hmm.gif

Pity. Really interested on what the whole project looks like coz the last time I was there for their Bloc Party, their video only showed the commercial element.

Wonder if they're still waiting for the right time to launch or negotiating with the architect on how to design the project based on the feedback collected at the party. hmm.gif

Well, I did pay their Bon Estates sales gallery a visit at one time just for fun and the sales staff confirmed that they widened the road near their Bon Estates project in Bangsar South as part of their community project. It is still currently in progress the last time I went to the latter.

Here in this part of Mont Kiara? Not sure what they can do outside of clearing the squatters sitting on this project's land, tho. Last I heard is that they're undergoing some re-planning at their end. hmm.gif

I believe A.B.D posted some time back that the project was put on hold.

It's a slow property market now. I believe quite a number of developers are slowing down their launches during this period. Wouldn't be surprised if this project is one of them.

Don't recall coming across such news before. Do you have the news link?

And furthermore, I thought the decision to approve projects fall under DBKL's jurisdiction? How does an MP (and a Deputy Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development at that) possess the authority to put a project on hold?

Just to refresh everyone's memory, the surrounding of Villa Impian used to be filled with squatter houses which are now removed for this project (previous post).

And so far they didn't make any noise about this project and seem pretty content with it.

Wonder if they'll build a gate at the back of Villa Impian so that folks there can access this project easily for their convenience. hmm.gif

Coz otherwise, they can only access this project by going out the main entrance, then walk either left or right to enter this project.

A close example I can think of is Sunway SPK Damansara which had a back access to Desa Parkcity, but for some reason, it was cordoned off from what I saw in Google Maps. Not sure what's the reason, tho.

So it means that the retails and residential blocks are separated?

Always thought it is retails on the lower floors and the upper floor are the residential blocks.
