If you sign up for PADI, PADI never required you to know swimming. Unless you go for Dive Master course.
it stated required know how to swim, but is subjective to the instructor.
when i took my ow, i require to swim 200m with fin only on water surface and float without any gear on water surface for more than 10minute.
but my fren does not go through those test at different centre

No Chance to bring them to dive site Canyon, Pantee Peunateung because of choppy water
