This mifi need to be charge or can directly plug in to USB? I'm planning to permanently put to PC

If you are going to leave it permanently attached to the PC, best to go get yourself the TM's set, B618-65d modem/router, which is the king of 4G/LTE modems. It costs RM569 vs if you buy from retail outside which is RM1.2k. IMHO, it's a steal and worthy investment.

Comes with usb/microusb to plug direct to PC. And also battery included, to bring outdoor for wifi connect to 10 users. Just check it out in lazada, plenty sellers, only rm100++ only.

Yup the B618 is really good . But nowadays, with cheap fiber plan.... going for the unifi 100mbps plan is cheaper than digi, only rm129.
Plan to switch over to unifi. Unless digi comes out with a better plan for us.

Indeed Bro. All telco's are supposed to submit their proposal to MCMC by end of this month for their price and speed restructuring. Wait and see, what they have to offer.

If you have access to fixed broadband, just get it. It's far stable than Infinite plans.

Yes agree, but previously unifi only 10mbps, and digi was able to give 50mbps for same price. Hence using digi was worth it.

Now totally change the game plan. With fiber plan getting really affordable... with high 100mbps.
Its a tough sell for digi now. Really love the infinite plan, but now its being out cast by fibers.

Coming from fiber, I have no regret at all just that I always travel, hence switched to Infinite 150. I'm getting at least 110Mbps all the time.
In term of stability and consistency, my UniFi wins big time.

Hopefully and with wishful thinking, DiGi adjust their pricing to match or beat the prices of the Fiber Broadbands, instead of maintaining or scraping away the Infinite plans.

If you are using the B618-65d LTE modem which supports VoLTE, and have a DECT phone plugged in, you will be able to successfully make a call while maintaining your 4G+ connection. I have used it numerous times and it works as intended.

Any setting required? I'm now using E5186S-22a

E5186 cannot have VoLTE over router. Only B618-65d has.

Dang! That's most unfortunate, but still being wishful they would adjust due to stiff competition.

It has indirect bearing. If some people have both choices and move towards broadband, it will force the prepaid to also lower prices.

But Digi infinite is not a broadband plan. It still has one selling point: mobility. So even if it does not reduce the price, people will still get jt which mobility is not something a fixed fibre broadband can provide.

ok just ported over online at Digi website from Maxis... I guess now I have to wait for the sim card to come over - I'm in Klang Valley - so hopefully can get it Thurs

Once the sim card is received I suppose I still need to call Digi to activate correct? Else my current mobile will have problems receiving calls...they won't actually port over until I receive my SIm and confirm - correct?
