How long till you will get the SIM?? Any indication?

Did you have to pay 2 months in advance? I can't recall but apparently you can also do it at DIGI authorized stores but must pay 2 months bill in advance..not sure if online is the same?

Apparently so but not by the vending machine - given by the sales person

How's the speed overseas with roam like home. Some people mentioned very slow.

ok just ported over online at Digi website from Maxis... I guess now I have to wait for the sim card to come over - I'm in Klang Valley - so hopefully can get it Thurs

Once the sim card is received I suppose I still need to call Digi to activate correct? Else my current mobile will have problems receiving calls...they won't actually port over until I receive my SIm and confirm - correct?

Actually can do at official DIGI store now - at least when I asked the sales person -but you don't get the current RM61 rebate - you can sim immediately though.

Hope they extend it - only reason I'm using Digi as they have this FOC Roaming option without committing to a contract

Going to SG this week - seems like Singtel is also on the list of roaming partners now - last time was Starhub only? Dont want to get crazy roaming charges...when did Singtel get added?
