Nine more Norse additions to Borr's jackup pantheon

SINGAPORE/INTERNATIONAL: Borr Drilling has named the nine jackups it acquired from PPL Shipyard after more Norse deities.
The first unit, to be delivered this month, will be called Galar (ex-Vastus, hull P2041). In 2018, Borr is set to take delivery of seven units: Gerd (ex-Perisai Pacific 102, hull P2043) in January, Gersemi (ex-Animus, hull 2045) in February, Grid (ex-Supremus, hull 2046) in April, Gunnlod (hull 2053) in June, Groa (ex-Perisai Pacific 103, hull 2049) in July, Gyme (hull 2047) in September and Natt (hull 2048) in October. Finally, in January 2019, PPL is set to hand over the ninth and final unit, Njord (ex-Iron V, hull 2052).

Hess looks at other rig options for Malaysia HPHT campaign

MALAYSIA: It is understood Hess is reviewing its rig options related to a HPHT (high-pressure high-temperature) requirement on the North Malay Basin Full Field Development (FFD)'s Phase 1B drilling campaign, off Peninsular Malaysia.
Currently, Hess has jackup UMW Naga 8 on contract until May 2018, with a one-year option outstanding. It is understood the operator is looking at extending the rig's charter to cover the HPHT campaign. Hess had issued a market survey for a jackup to undertake the project. It has had plans to charter the rig under a two-year contract, commencing between 1 April and 30 June, 2018. The unit will cover a two part work scope, for three deep wells as Part 1, plus two separate campaigns of four and five wells each in Part 2. Hess's requests included a rig with usable leg below hull of 410 ft (125 m), 3,000 hp drawworks, three cranes, cantilever envelope of 15 by 60 ft (4.6 by 18.3 m), three mud pumps as well as accommodation for 150 people. Water depths in the area range between 60-70 m (196-230 ft).

Petronas Carigali needs jackup for Business of Margin scope

MALAYSIA: Petronas Carigali plans to use the jackup it is seeking through an ongoing market survey for a development concept called Business of Margin (BoM) project offshore Peninsular Malaysia.
The BoM concept involves a development via surface or subsea wellhead in water depths of between 35-75 m (115-248 ft) with measured well depth of up to 3,000 m (9,842 ft), and downhole pressure and temperature of 5,000 psi and below 120 degree C, respectively. The rig for the subsea BoM project will be required to drill and complete, and re-entry for plug-and-abandonment (P&A). Rig utilisation will be short, excluding a four to six-month break between wells, with commencement in first quarter 2019.

The surface BoM scope will require the rig to be on standby for four to six months to support extended well testing for each well plus P&A thereafter. This campaign will occupy the rig for up to two years, including the standby period, commencing third quarter 2018. Both projects will involve the drilling and completing of three wells, known as BoM wells, lasting around 45 days each.

Buttttttttttttttt ExxonMobil only hire top graduates otak with menangis punya CGPA wa cakap lu bro. Very very high CGPA diorang nak.

But hey dont stop trying. Who am I to stop you to try. Kasi bikin deal sampai jadi bruv. So chill bruv. Its not the end of the world bruv.
