QUOTE(mhyug @ Nov 28 2017, 09:08 AM) HR asks for salary history / payslip. should we share? i hope this can be shared with everyone. I also would love to learn what are the best options for this situation I've read that a good HR dont need your salary history to come up with a good package and only reason they want this is to lowball the offer. verifying your salary or comparing what you stated as your target is another thing but do they need your past salaries for that when they know for sure whats the market worth at the time. so should we provide them with it or politely decline and see what happems after that? hope the otais can help me on this. pm's are also welcomed. im kinda stumped on how to reply them back when they start quoting 'you share salary on loan application bla bla' |

Salam All,
Anyone who familiar with ExxonMobil hiring process. Just got a phone call from the HR. We had a talk. they asked me about my background, my current work, my FYP , my internship project and my expectation for the position. I am currently with 20 months work experience. Applied for a position with requirement of 10 years experience but fresh grads are welcome to apply. Question is, in my own experience, at the end of the call, usually the HR will ask me whether i am available for an interview, but instead they said they will pass the resume to the hiring manager. i am a bit skeptical about this is this a normal procedure? |

QUOTE(steel52 @ Apr 12 2018, 06:53 PM) same... I'm freshie. i couldnt get one single interview for oil and gas. I think most of the oil and gas company dont hire freshie bro how long have you been unemployed? i noticed you are too prone to oil and gas. I guess you should try other industry first. better than nothing.. you can do it bro |

QUOTE(langstrasse @ Jun 1 2018, 11:09 PM) To the experienced people in here : I am no experienced person, but I know a lot of them who jumped to be a contract staff under Carimin etc.How many years of experience is generally recommended for those considering the shift from permanent positions to contract positions ? From what I see, the pros for each case : Permanent Staff : Medical benefits, allowance for accommodation & transport, stock options, career progression (assuming good relationship / cable with management). Slightly lower chance of getting cut during bad times. Contract Staff : Higher (even astronomically high) take home pay, and the flexibility to choose how to spend it (not everyone wants stock options etc). what you mentioned above is correct, they do bring home fancy pay - ive seen per DAY rm7500 They told me once you have at least 15 years, go out there and make money. so i assume 15? |
