QUOTE(karom @ Jun 23 2007, 07:08 PM) I would like to know if there anyone already manage to get Image Mount software without installing spyware that bundle together with it. ??? I installed Daemon without having any spyware. It ask you wether or not to install the extra for Daemon. Just say no. REally, any ppl with common sense should notice that earlier.

In a sense. You would still get infected if you don't have a decent firewall or antivirus. But the UAC will try to prevent worms running malicious script behind your back, even tho it's a bit annoying. The base of Vista is not XP, and because of the low usage of vista currently, XP is more prone to attack than Vista.

Just disable it when start on a fresh install and enable it back after install all the stuff. But still, I find it annoying having to press few times just to launch something Currently I off it

QUOTE(phazell @ Jun 25 2007, 03:35 PM) i heard sum news from http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/2192615/...ms-vista-secure claim that its quite safer? is it true? Indeed, it is more secure as compared to its predecessor, Windows XP. I would say this is mainly attributed by Microsoft's adoption of SDL which prioritize the integrity of software development. But, still, no matter how secure is Windows Vista, one should note that there are many applications and device drivers out there which contain exploitable vulnerabilities. Therefore, i would say that even though Vista is less likely to be targeted directly, these attacks could still be directed through common software applications such as Microsoft Office. Worse, since Windows have a large base of software applications, I can foresee that such attacks are becoming more prominent.

Huh, 2.7, Windows Experience Index but very responsive? My other PC 4.9 can't do simultaneous programs, if not hang or lag. I do Halo with WMP and burn DVD the PC hang. WMP to listen music while Halo mute.

My BenQ S41 scores:
Processor : 4.8 Memory: 4.8 Graphics: 5.9 Gaming Graphics: 5.3 Primary HDD: 4.3
Prolly due to the fact that my HDD is a SATA1 5400RPM disk and i was doing some torrenting so the score is lower.
