Component cable improve PS2 graphics a lot. I bought one recently for RM20 (Sony copy wan) and pair it with SDTV. I notice graphics in MGS2 is far more sharp and brighter. Especially during the plant chapter.

But if you pair it with an HDTV, make sure to adjust it to 4:3 resolution or else you will get blocky and squished down graphics.

i manage to boot from memory card.. installing free mcboot 1.8, copy hdloader tomemory card.. wow.. no need laser/dvd to run games.. i bought the codebreaker 9.2 at sunway pyramids.. inside not only cheat, it also have hdloader 0.7c, launchelf 3.1.. etc..

im using ar max evo cheat.. i want to know, how do i save the cheat on pendrive or memory card or harddisk, so i can use the cheat for playing games from my hard disk?

First of all u need to download the correct file in .elf format. Either Codebreaker or Action Replay (I'm using Codebreaker 10 now). Finding these .elf its not hard, but u need to manually configure the shortcut at the FMCB Configurator and also, if u need the Codebreaker to be auto launch HDLoader, u need to patch the Codebreaker with the HDLoader.

Too long to search back and not sure is this the place to post. My son's 2 year's old PS is giving some problem. It cannot read the software anymore..always display "Please insert PS 2 disc" or something like that. or it will display as browser or something like that as I have no idea, only my son play.

Any recommendation where to send the set for repair, in Klang Valley area.

1. is it possible to connect ps2 slim to lcd monitor via hdmi? my friend wants to use hdmi to dvi converter on his lcd, while connecting ps2 to lcd via hdmi cable
