To improve graphics quality on the PS2, you should really connect it to your 50" LCD TV using component cable.

Component cable improve PS2 graphics a lot. I bought one recently for RM20 at a local gameshop (Sony copy wan) and pair it with my SDTV. I notice graphics in MGS2 is far more sharp and brighter. Especially during the plant chapter.

But if you pair it with an HDTV, make sure to adjust it to 4:3 resolution or else you will get blocky and squished down graphics.

Anyone can help me...

i cant play game using hardisc. Not sure either my network adapter or my ps2 problem, I m sure 100% that no problem with the hardisc (tested it on pc). Went to a few shops but most of them don’t allow me to test my network adapter on their ps2 and some are not compatible due to mine is Scph -5500GT NTSC-J version. Can anyone help me, maybe we can meet and I can give a try of my network adapter so I can know what the real problem is.

no i did'nt format my hdd,, (intsall it on my pc, it can detect my hhd) but when i connct it with my NA, it doestnt detect my hdd on ps2.

hmmm.....strange.....
u try format it wit PS2 format, n c how.

try using those HDLdump gui ver.
it can format ur HDD.

ur PC can detect, bcoz it detect as a PC HDD.
if u format wit PS2 format,
it wil detect n say unknown format for the HDD.
only using those HDLdump can read the HDD.


if after u format wit PS2,
still cannot detect,
then will b ur network adapter problem.
(then u format the HDD back to FAT format)
