guy, i plan use my ps2 on my 23" lcd monitor..what things is recommend for me to buy? make sure the Image quality on the screen is clear and bright..anyone using lcd?

I have aproblem with the ps2 I bought for my children it seems that it can only play certain games but not all, frankly i'm very frustrated by this since I'm the one who has to go to the store to replce everycd that I bought from them which cannot be played, how is this possible, I've tried reading through the threads but i don't really understand it whats wrong with it.
for your info the at the back of the slim console that I bought is NTSC/J and SCPH90006 please help me although this is probably been discussed about,

done a survey...and I can see roughly the price varies from 350 to 490....
-1 machine
-2 controllers
-10 free games

but sumtimes they would claim
350 = no fan
400++ = got fan

helo guys, i got some prob here .. normally i use s-video to play game on my ps2 wit my samsung lcd and everythings is very gd no prob at all ..
when using component cable to play game etc GT4,GT3 or KOF all those game is original wan and suddenly black out for 3 sec to 5 sec but still can hear the game sound only then suddenly the game screen appear back to normal then another 20min or 30min suddenlly back out again can hear the game sound only ..
so, i try to change back to s-video cable and everythings go back to normal again .. izit the component cable got prob or the samsung lcd not suitable to use component cable ? anyone got face this prob before ..
hope can get some gd guide or help .. thankue very much and very appreciate for the guide or help from all the master2 here .
