Hi, why does my ps2 slim doesn't spin the disc? It only shows "browser" and "system configuration" and no matter what I put it in, it just won't spin - and of course it won't read my game.

it has quite bad image when playing game.. and got bad sound quality..

Hi guys. I need your assistance. I'm trying to access to my thumb-drive but I can't seem to get it work. The console powers up and goes straight to the menu screen and it seems like the thumb-drive isn't powering up. Is there any modification that I need to perform onto the console before I can access the files within the thumb-drive?

Question: I am using MY PSN ID rite... then if I add my fren, (US PSN ID) and both of us are playing LBP for example... would I able to play with him?

Everytime I play online, can only see 1 or 2 players. Is there any game setting or modem/router setting I need to configure? What are the game modes for online play? Any DMZ and port forwarding I need to set?

after 2 years of hardcore playing, my ps2 eventually died. the problem is the console cannot read the disc anymore. initially, i found a tactic that was press the ON button while pressing hard on the console's center cover and it sure would read but now this cannot works anymore no matter how hard or any position i pressed.

pls help!...any idea how to make it read again without sending it to shop.

is this ths so-called 'Sony Timer' in which any sony products will die after the warranty. i used to have a sony hifi and it really died after 2 years ?????

i did tried to push that button manually using a stick without closing the lid and infact there are 2 more in the front and have to be push simultaneously to made the disc run. but the disc spinned awhile and then stopped with no disc ....]
so waht happen to your ps2 then?

I have a question here, I tested out my ps2 this morning, and later then I sold it to some forumer here.

At 1st he texted me about the ps2 1 of the dualaxis was unable to perform a left or right movement in the game, despite mocing the joystick left and right.

Now, he text'd me regarding suddenly the X button is unable to register anything.

This is rather disturbing, because when i tested the ps2 before I sold it, EVERYTHING was working as it should be.

So, is there any DIY solutions you guys have for me???
