This is so far my highest for Band 3 15Mhz only. Really quite impressive.

Assuming the spectrum like a road,
15mhz equals to opening another lane from an initial dual lane highway.... Of coz it will ease congestion + added capacity..

bro. is there 20Mhz on band 3? if digi did implement 20Mhz on band 7 for sure maxis will bungkus.haha..

20Mhz is possible, but that would mean Digi has to shut down their 2G network. Right now 5Mhz is allotted for 2G.

I think Digi should move 900MHz band to 2G and use full 20 MHz for 1800 MHz. Sure it will trump Maxis immediately. But due to indoor coverage maybe they make a good choice implementing 900 MHz on 4G.

Personally I prefer better indoor coverage than even faster network. I think 15Mhz is faster enough and if we need more capacity that is where 4G+ comes in. I think the end goal is to do three carrier aggregation (ie. Band 7 10Mhz + Band 3 15Mhz and Band 8 5Mhz). Digi should also make their network denser too. I feel their tower are a little too spread out and their speed between two locations 50m apart can have very big difference.

Maxis band 7 is 20mhz
Band 3 is 15mhz

Yeah that is quite true. The network speed will decrease a lot when you are getting further from the tower. But at least they are improving a lot rite now. The new bandwidth allocation improves the speed by a lot of margin.

How can Digi obtain Band 7 20Mhz? Don't they have to find someone to share their Band 7 10Mhz? Like Maxis and Redtone.

Mcmc seems purposely put digi spectrum between maxis n celcom....

For example, for 2600mhz range,

Damn... Even worse.... Only can share with puncak semangat...


2600mhz will be renewed this year... Lets see if big 3 can get 20mhz or no.
