I just switched to Digi yesterday. Then I went to reload RM 30 to my account so that it stays active. I notice that my free credit balance went down from RM 3 (because I reloaded the aforementioned amount) to lesser and lesser, and eventually the actual credit balance from RM 30.41 to RM 20.41 this morning. I did not call anyone or do anything. As for the internet, I redeemed the starter 1GB for free so I believe the use of internet did not incur the loss of balance. Can anyone from Digi help?

There's no staff or representatives from Digi around this forum. You'd looked for the wrong place.

Digi infinite 150 internet speed is very no stable , and slow a bit if compare with other digi plan. ranting.gif
Before july this plan speed still can run up to above 20mbs , but now manytime less than 10 mbs and very lag. At the same time, the satire thing is other digi plan internet speed very fast and speed run up to above 30mbs.  brows.gif
Not p2p problem. cool2.gif

not sure who but someone did noticed that if infinite 150 is placed into a non smartphone device, the speed is throttled.

They just cant....
Mcmc seems purposely put digi spectrum between maxis n celcom....

For example, for 2600mhz range,

Um redtone maxis digi celcom puncak semangat....

Damn... Even worse.... Only can share with puncak semangat...
[attachmentid=9079597]

2600mhz will be renewed this year... Lets see if big 3 can get 20mhz or no.
*
2600MHz will be back to auction?? That means Webe and Yes could potentially lose their current slice of 2600MHz?

Weekends and nights usually slow like kura-kura... currently deliberating whether to upgrade to Infinite 150 or not.. sigh...
*
Then you better don't as you should expect worse speed if you were to place the sim card into a modem.

They already use the 15MHz bandwidth for 1800 Band in certain area. For example in my area. But I have tested LTE in Shah Alam Uptown Section 24 recently for Digi and it is trash. It is really unusable. They still use the same 10 MHz bandwidth in the area. Got around 1 Mbps+ for LTE. Where Maxis is still flying in that area. Got 50 Mbps+.
Now I know why Maxis is fast. They use the 2600 MHz band combined with Redtone for their coverage reference where Digi use 1800 MHz band. Maxis use a higher band but smaller coverage but in terms of stability they can provide more bandwidth in a smaller area. Plus with their previous threshold of 98 dBm give them a more advantage by providing good coverage even in indoors.
But they need to spend more money to install more towers compared to the other telcos. So maybe that is why it costs premium to use their service.
*
If bandwidth can't be increased, the only way to increase capacity is to have more towers. It is very costly to set up a tower.

Since Digi had 3 LTE band, I wonder do they have band steering that automatically steer users to the least congested band?

did DIGI limit speed for family plan?
at first ok speed can reach more than 20mbps
but nowday less than 10mbps... mostly 5-8mbps
*
Do you think they really throttle speed for quota capped plan? Definitely is congestion in this case.

The mifi support band that Digi are using. I'm not sure the mifi is unlocked to be used with other carrier or not though.

MNP from UMoblie to D110 for about 2 weeks. DG indoor coverage 4G is slightly better than UMobile. Main reason MNP is to utilize the Weekend Unlimited Data.
So far quite happy with the speed and coverage.
*
Digi had band 8 LTE while U Mobile doesn't. This explains everything.

Not just recently but in late 2016, Digi are largest carrier in terms of subscriber base and none had surpass it until now.

where do u guys get data DiGi is the biggest? Not celcom?
*
Celcom: https://www.malaysianwireless.com/2017/12/c...bscribers-3q17/
Maxis: https://www.malaysianwireless.com/2017/10/m...bscribers-3q17/
Digi: https://www.malaysianwireless.com/2017/10/d...bers-financial/

Maxis is still the largest mobile carrier in terms of total revenue but Digi is largest in terms of subscriber base.

Data roaming is available in India but UM's data backpack in India is only limited to 3G. Terrible speed, less than 1Mbps, sometimes only 0.2Mbps. doh.gif I gave up and use Celcom's weekly data roaming package and it was fast with 4G and 4G+.
If it's not because Digi's Roam Like Home doesn't cover India, I will not bother to go for UM. Plus to register a local prepaid in India is not as easy as other countries.

I'm glad it was only one time thingy. I'm sorry to say, after this experience, I do not have good impression towards UM.

Digi's Roam Like Home is a Godsend to me these days.

Mobile network in India is extremely congested. Even 4G yield pretty poor speed.

Hey guys, I'm from Kota Kinabalu Sabah. I've been using digi infinite 150 for almost 6 months now. It is great, but for the past 2-3 week I keep facing speed reduction especially during night time. Has this happen to any of you?
*
Read around few pages back and you would know this had been going on for a while.

Digi quality is getting worse and worse. My office is in klcc area. And the coverage is a joke.
*
KLCC? That place had been monopolized by Maxis. Other service provider users had to connect to towers away from the area and with this Infinite, Digi had no way to increase network capacity in that area with this monopoly.
