I agree with you 110%

I've experienced when flying with MAS. I bought the front seat ie with the large legroom. After taking off, the FA came and ask me to change seat -to the 2nd sector seats because one couple want to be together. I said NO because I bought my seat and I want front seat.

Hahaha good for them. But I don't understand why they're separated because if you check in together, the likelihood of sitting together is high especially since it's MAS. AA is a different case.

traveling to Japan flight and I made sure I sat with my girlfriend even if it cost extra. these cheap skates expect people to give in because they take advantage of their niceness

I'll remove Osaka from my next trip. next time I'll fly in Osaka straight go kyoto. really ruined my trip. we were at the Osaka wet market buying scallops and these two honkies cut our line and we found out the last two grilled scallops were sold to the brilliant ladies who cut our line.

so far Tokyo was awesome, same with hakone and koyasan. kyoto was...too touristy

Hongkies cut line? That's quite rare. I thought it's usually PRCs.

some quick question on Tokyo

is it possible to travel from Lake Kawaguchi to Hakone via train?

between these two, which is more favorable?

assuming both places are departed from Shinjuku station

But to do that route in a single day is pretty rushed though, better to have 2 days or just stick with Nishisamdo and Kanmangafuchi Abyss.
*
2 days would be best, maybe can cover Senjougahara Marsh.

kinda doable, minus jam, 9am++ reaching Ryuzu fall (pretty isolated area, unless ur into hiking, time ur visit with next bus schedule), 10.30am chuzenji lake+kegon fall, lunch there n stroll, 2pm reach Nishisando for Toshugu Shrine (include Futarasan n other one [forgot the name de]) maybe after that stroll back to Kanmangafuchi Abyss (no closing time, while the other shrine has til 5pm iinm), n evening walk around the Nikko town (+ dinner) b4 heading back to Tokyo.

Good luck with Nikko on weekend. really crowded n traffic is horrible.
tho this is how i did, Tokyo>Nikko>Ryuzu Falls>Chuzenji (+Kegon Fall)>Nishisando (Toshogu shrine)>Tokyo
n i missed Toshogu Shrine due to traffic jam delay (closing time).

bonus: try to visit Kanmangafuchi Abyss, not much ppl went there n nice place imo.

i done mine with JR, not sure if plausible using Tobu line. (heard JR is faster than Tobu's)
Shinkansen from Tokyo >(Shinkansen)> Utsunomiya > Nikko

Hi there, in the midst of doing my itinerary for 8-9days doing the Osaka loop

What going on my mind is that Nara/Kyoto/Kobe will be day trips, so all in all is 3 days gone. So if 5-6days juz for Osaka, will it be overkill?

At first thinking of going to Tokyo/Hiroshima via Shinkansen, but I prefer going at slow and relax pace. So is there any recommendations?

FYI, after deduct flight/transit.. I have 8-9 full days for jalan-jalan

drewn123 5 days only osaka i guess most people would say it’s too long. 1 day USJ, 2 days aquarium + the city would be plenty. The other 2-3 days do more day trips to Kyoto.
