forgive me if this thing has been explained before.. will it be better to run miner with different worker id for the same wallet address or simply use the same id?.. does it have any effect with the hash rate?.. thanks..

i personally have different work all pointing to same wallet.
dont think it effects hashrate either way,
i just like to transfer eth out from pool to wallet fast.

Anyone with 1060 running Claymore 9.7?

If not you should, there is about 8% increases in performance
Ive been running the new optimized ethminer for few days now ever since its came out.
Now seems Claymore has copied the open source code.
from what I can tell the performance between Claymore 9.7 and ethminer is about the same, about 8% increases in hashrate

you still use a bat file to start it off just like claymore.
claymore has much more usefull features, that ethminer dont, since its already giving similar performance, i will keep using claymore

I remember when doing research on these, RX570 more processing power but consume much higher power, also super limited stock, hence many get 1060 6GB.

Very low ROI. The difficulty increases.

Why not buy S9/T9?

Depends on what do u want to mine.
Nvidia is better for most other coins.

AMD is limited for the time being.

you can find RX570??

about 2 weeks ago, the people found out that the dag file is going effect the rx series cards, it does not effect gtx
dag file increase hash rate slowers, the epoc size for ethereum i mean.
i would stick with gtx 1060 for now.

Hi All, I'm a mining noob. I just wanted to check your opinion before I jump onto the mining ship. Was planning to build a 6 gpu rig, either GTX 1070 or 1060, to mine ether or zcash. From what I see, ether is now very hard, but would there be any big risk just mining zcash for consistent money?

I'm afraid if my train of thought is too simple as I see a lot of people selling off their mining rigs. Will mining consistently be profitable? (Although amount of profit goes up and down)

Thank you so much for the advice.
