Does anyone here have experience with Biostar BTC250 Pro+ with 12 PCIe? Can it run 12 Nvidia cards? From the website it keeps saying 6 Nvidia and 6 AMD.

I just started mining eth 1 week ago and finally can rest awhile. Bios mod my Hynix RX580 and it can manage 28.7mh/s stable with no GPU error. But I'm jealous of those who can get 30 Mh/s on eth. Is it because of silicon lottery ?

I can hit 30Mh/s too, but millions of error per second. Hence have to roll back to 28.7 speed. Maybe his gpu mem can overclock quite high. Mine maximum stable at 2045 Mhz.. Go past that and memory errors will appear

Mine are also hynix can reach above 30Mhs for Eth and so far is stabile no error. Whats ur card temperature?

wah, can share the clock setting? my rx580 can stable at 29.5MH/s with 65 temp and 120-125w 

i checked last 6 months bills were around 600kwh RMRM235+, after put rig is total 1522kwh. So this Rig cost me  bout 922 kwh.

based on the rate, last 922kwh total RM518

searching psu now.  here some info i got. I think next time buy PSU should find only those with 80 Plus cert, its like our ST 5 star efficiency cert on aircon.

what is your setting ?

mine are core 1200,  memory clock 2150 at bout 30MH/s but they consume 142-147w .

is this something to do with the mod bios ?
may i know what u meant here tweak the custom memory timing = mod bios ?

i try play with the core clock & memory clock no way can reach 30mhs @ <130W, so does it means need do something on the bios setting only able to archieve ur fren result ?

Just now itchy hand go buy 2 RX570.
Without BIOS mode and using mem oc at 2150, I can only get up to 24.3MH in ETH.

Is this normal?

Any RX580 8GB user can comment pls?

All the above is theory because in reality you can't pick and choose GPUs today, whatever you get is what you get.

1. Read up more than just the basic "samsung > micron > hynix"
2. AMD and nVidia cards work differently with different memory manufacturers
3. different algorithms have different requirements. ethash is memory speed intensive but others are not
4. don't overpay for GPUs
