People have reported steady declines in return as much as 40% in 26 days. And another issue is Casper (which i know is a longshot and still unknown)

I remember when doing research on these, RX570 more processing power but consume much higher power, also super limited stock, hence many get 1060 6GB.

Nvidia is better for most other coins.

about 2 weeks ago, the people found out that the dag file is going effect the rx series cards, it does not effect gtx
dag file increase hash rate slowers, the epoc size for ethereum i mean.
i would stick with gtx 1060 for now.

U may downtune your POWER target is u mine in COMMERCIAL lot or if u have unlimited/free power, 1060 OC edition u can fired up to 110%

i currently mining eth with claymore 907 with gtx 1060 pl/core/mem = 64/140/900
try to up your memory first once u hit stable max, up your core, and last down your pl.
some cards will have issues running around 900 mem.
i leave my fan on auto and it never goes above 40%, temp very seldom go pass 70c

your core speed is very high, if you lower your pl it will make a big difference in temp, pl 65 is a sweetspot for my cards.

MEM +700-800

All GPU and miner and coins have different settings. Keep trying to optimise between Mem and Core
