I PMed you. AMD themselves are having more trouble keep up demand, I think even before mining craze goes out of hand.
*
Thanks!

Also, need more testing to see if the Biostar or Asrock support a mixture of AMD and Nvidia or it can support either all Nvidia or all AMD in a 12 or 13 GPUs configuration setup environment. Right now, sourcing for the GPUs and even the dedicated mining GPUs is the hardest.

I thought nicehash only cashout bitcoin to me after I mined certain amount, I only test run for 3days+ so only got about 10+ USD worth.
Today out of curiosity check my wallet, got transaction !
They did charge some amount of 'mining fee', anyone can enlighten me how much they charge for the mining fee or transaction fee ? By percentage or fixed amount ?
*
They do have a certain time frame for payout.

Apart from that fees are as follows:

Sellers:
Fee for all nicehash-wallet mining payments (regardless of size) is 2%.
Fee for payments with unpaid balances, greater than 0.1 BTC to external-wallet is 3%.
Fee for payments with unpaid balances, greater than 0.01 BTC to external-wallet is 4%.

The breakeven for Antminer L3+ is around 2 months if order from Bitmain website.

Attached with ROI calculation for reference.  biggrin.gif

Just to seek more clarification.
Does that mean buying Antminer L3+ to mine Litecoin is more profitable than buying Antminer S9 to mine bitcoin?

about 2 weeks ago, the people found out that the dag file is going effect the rx series cards, it does not effect gtx
dag file increase hash rate slowers, the epoc size for ethereum i mean.
i would stick with gtx 1060 for now.
*
They said it does not affect if the RX series cards has 6Gb or 8Gb memory

Tempered - on digital electric meter? Someone said TNB can actually detect it somehow.

Nope. Haven't tested on those dedicated mining GPU yet.
But would like to try out both Nvidia and ATIs ones in the near future..

your rig cost? RM12k ; TNB bill usage? also the difficulty keeps increasing
*
Well, I build myself the rig in order to try keep the cost down as I source everywhere.
Depending on your rig cost, at the estimated current payout rate you would be able to calculate your ROI.

The GPUs these days are overprice and expensive - the bulk of the rig cost. Dedicated mining GPUs might keep the cost down but comes at the expense of warranty.

TNB bill usage on the rig alone.. or total consumption of everything in your hse/office...

Yes, the difficulty keep increasing.. sigh!

If you are a new, I suggest you stay away from actual mining now its a bad time to get it, if it was 3-4 months ago, then go ahead. now is not a good time to buy eth mining rig, first of all the hardware are extreamly expensive now, POS, difficulty bomb, current weak ETH price but that should be temp. there is no more 3month roi
zcash is not good on 1060, 1070 and 1080ti yes if you can get it at reasonable price, other coins tho not sure, Im actually in the mids researching on mining other coins to hedge my bets.

it took me a very long time to get my 2nd rig done, you need very good PC trouble shooting skills.
Basically took me 2 days to figure out i had multiple issues with pci usb risers and not software, took another day to test each individual PCI/mobo, and full pci/gpu, there are lots of shit quality ones out there now, as high demand low quality.
Once I determine the defective ones, about 1/3 was not usable, 1/3 was ok but had stability issues, lucky I had ordered much more then I needed.
My first batch of riser work 7 out of 7 perfectly. 2nd batch form different supplier was horrible.

If all your hardware is fine and plugged in, it just takes 2-3 hours each PC to setup the software from to finish (flash mobo, install os, updates, miner, driver, etc... start mining.)

another option is do LTC mining using L3+ buy from bitmain.com. I got 2 on its way. its currently more profitable on that, but its noisy as hell. should be much simpler to setup then gpu rig.

Else suggest you better head do cloud mining instead, Im on the LTC plans as well and its also the most profitable one now for cloud mining
https://www.hashnest.com/  (they are actually bitmain.com)

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4345064
there are people there that can help you, lots have join already, just do yourself a favour and dont say i send you there, im the black sheep there.

By the way where are you seeing people selling their mining rigs?
price of 1060 is still way over price, same as 1070.
*
Good advice! 3 months ROI - no more....
But today saw someone bought 2 rig....dahsyat betul... Nevertheless, I like that new rig case as it can put 4 mobos inside with each 6 gpu. If 12 gpu setup, then one rack will be wasted.

I got one L3+ on the way also. Didn't order two or more coz need to test out first esp on its profitability as well as ROI.
Noise is nightmare

Someone said on the L3+

QUOTE
when all antminer L3+ are released and shipped out to ppl the difficulty will increase so much that you will never reach your ROI.. thats my fear.. i mean with a 10% diff increment increase its red numbers... so will have to watch the Hashrate and difficulty.. if global hashrate reaches 10000GH/s by end of august i would not be suprised.. and its currently at 6,578 GH/s

As at today, the global hashrate is 7999 GH/s but on average it's 7,696 GH/s.

Since when, mining is only about ETH?
Why too much focus on it?

GPU mining ROI since late June is 9 months.

Not many legitimate businesses can ROI lesser than 1 year
*
Can you share on the steps to achieve ROI on GPU mining in 9 months since you do have quite a lot of experience for us to learn from.
Thanks

just looked at previous 3 months graph on hashrate and difficulty, it still seems like its constant, not like eth almost exponential.
*
Always interesting to learn from your insights.
Many thanks

If I look at the Litecoin chart from May to Mid-July, 2017:

Difficulty in 1st May - 125,655
Hashrate in 1st May - 3,598 GH/s

Difficulty in 15 July - 279,351
Hashrate in 15 July - 7,999 GH/s

Hmm...buying another of that machine based on the drop of bitcoin prices now seems to be cheaper by a bit..
